Abstract

Pemakaian listrik di Indonesia masih bersumber dari fosil yang sangat berbahaya bagi kesehatan dan lingkungan karena lepasnya aneka polutan ke atmosfer dan pemanasan global yang disebabkan oleh kenaikan CO2. Di PT. Terminal Petikemas Semarang terdapat lahan kosong yang belum dimanfaatkan memunculkan gagasan inovasi pembangunan jangka panjang. Pada penelitian ini penulis merencanakan solar farm sebagai energi yang ramah lingkungan yang mampu menyuplai listrik untuk reefer container. Dengan menggunakan 1480 modul solar panel serta menggunakan sistem on-grid, energi yang dihasilkan selama satu tahun sebesar 988047,7209 kWh. Sistem dari solar panel memiliki performa rasio sebesar 89%. Dari pemasangan solar farm PT. Terminal Petikemas Semarang mendapatkan keuntungan dari penjualan listrik PLN karena adanya surplus energi pada bulan februari, maret, mei ,juni , juli dan agustus ketika kondisi nomal load. Daya yang dihasilkan solar farm
dapat menyuplai sebesar 85 % dalam satu tahun dengan kondisi normal load. Adanya pengaplikasian solar farm sebagai energi alternatif reefer container dapat mengurangi emisi rumah kaca sebesar 745,3 tCO2.

Electricity consumption in Indonesia is still sourced from fossils which are very dangerous for health and the environment due to the release of various pollutants into the atmosphere and global warming caused by the increase in CO2. In PT. Terminal Petikemas Semarang has vacant land that has not been utilized, giving rise to the idea of long-term development innovation. In this study, the author plans a solar farm as an environmentally friendly energy that is able to supply electricity to reefer containers. Using 1480 solar panel modules and using an on-grid system, the energy produced for one year is 988047.7209 kWh. The system of solar panels has a performance ratio of 89%. From the installation of solar farm PT. Terminal Petikemas Semarang benefited from PLN's electricity sales due to the energy surplus in February, March, May, June, July, and August when conditions were nomal load. The power generated by the solar farm can supply 85% in one year under normal load conditions. The application of solar farms as alternative energy to reefer containers can reduce greenhouse emissions by 745.3 tCO2.
