Abstract

Laporan kerja praktik ini membahas perancangan perangkat IoT berbasis mikrokontroler ESP32 untuk memantau kualitas larutan obat herbal di Laboratorium Zoologi UNP. Sistem ini mengintegrasikan sensor pH, suhu, Dissolved Oxygen (DO), dan Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) untuk menggantikan metode pemantauan manual yang rentan terhadap kesalahan.Data dari sensor dikirimkan melalui jaringan Wi-Fi dan dikelola menggunakan Google Apps Script untuk disimpan secara otomatis ke dalam Google Sheets. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa seluruh kriteria fungsional terpenuhi, di mana perangkat mampu membaca parameter fisik secara akurat, menjaga stabilitas koneksi, serta menyajikan data secara real-time melalui dashboard monitoring. Implementasi ini berhasil meningkatkan efisiensi operasional dan akurasi pemantauan standar mutu produk obat herbal.

This project report discusses the design of an IoT device based on the ESP32 microcontroller for monitoring the quality of herbal medicine solutions at the UNP Zoology Laboratory. The system integrates pH, temperature, Dissolved Oxygen (DO), and Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) sensors to replace manual monitoring methods that are prone to errors. Data from the sensors is transmitted via a Wi-Fi network and managed using Google Apps Script to be automatically saved to Google Sheets. Test results show that all functional criteria were met, with the device capable of accurately reading physical parameters, maintaining connection stability, and presenting data in real-time via a monitoring dashboard. This implementation has successfully improved operational efficiency and the accuracy of herbal medicine quality standard monitoring.
