Abstract
Pengembangan suatu daerah ke arah smart city dalam aspek perekonomian cenderung memunculkan tuntutan baru dari konsumen terhadap ekspektasi kepuasan misal dalam ranah marketplace. Supermarket dan toko retail misalnya, diperlukan ada penyeimbangan antara alur perbelanjaan dan kebutuhan konsumen yang semakin meningkat dengan teknologi yang digunakan. Dengan itu penelitian ini mengangkat sebuah bentuk teknologi terapan Self-checkout service berbentuk keranjang belanja pintar yang dapat melakukan kalkulasi otomatis terkait seluruh detail belanja, guna meningkatkan efektifitas aspek waktu alur perbelanjaan. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian akan mencakup uji coba prototype perangkat keras dan perangkat lunak pendukung yang akan memberikan output akhir perbedaan efisiensi dari aspek-aspek Self-service technology (SST) sebelum dan sesudah diterapkannya alat ini. Hasil pengujian menunjukan bahwa alat mampu untuk menghasilkan kenaikan efisiensi aspek waktu alur belanja sebesar 70,1%, berdasar pada hasil uji coba dengan ketetapan tiga skenario perbelanjaan yang sudah ditentukan, didapatkan total rata-rata nilai uji coba alur belanja konvensional sebesar 129,86 detik, dan alur belanja menggunakan sistem keranjang belanja yang telah dibuat sebesar 22,84 detik. Dimana hal ini sesuai dengan tujuan diciptakan nya alat.

The development of an area towards a smart city in the economic aspect tends to raise new demands from consumer`s expectation of satisfaction in the marketplace. Supermarkets and retail stores, for example, there is a need to balance the flow of shopping and the increasing needs of consumers with the technology used. This research raises a form of self-checkout service applied technology in the form of a smart shopping cart that can perform automatic calculations related to all shopping flow, in order to increase the time aspect effectiveness of the shopping flow. The method used in this research will include a prototype test of hardware and supporting software that will provide the final output of differences in efficiency from aspects of Self-service technology (SST) before and after the implementation of this tool. The test results show that the tool is able to produce an increase in the efficiency of the shopping flow time aspect of 70.1%, based on the test results with the provisions of three predetermined plans, the total average value of the conventional shopping flow trial is 129.86 seconds, whilst the shopping flow trial using the shopping cart system that has been made is 22.84 seconds. Where this is in accordance with the purpose of creating the tool.
