Abstract
HKUST-1 dan Zeolit-Y/HKUST-1 telah berhasil disintesis dengan metode solvotermal pada variasi penambahan massa Zeolit-Y terhadap massa HKUST-1 sebesar 5, 10 dan 20%.Hasil sintesis berupa padatan biru berturut-turut dinotasikan sebagai HKUST-1, ZY(5)/HKUST-1, ZY(10)/HKUST-1, dan ZY(20)/HKUST-1. Material hasil sintesis dikarakterisasi dengan instrumen XRD, FTIR, dan SEM-EDX. Pola difraktogram semua material hasil sintesis, menunjukkan puncak khas pada 2θ sekitar 6,5; 9,2; 11,4; dan 13,2° yang sesuai dengan pola difraktogram HKUST-1 standar. Pada spektra FTIR dari material hasil sintesis, teramati pita serapan yang muncul pada bilangan gelombang tertentu sama dengan pita serapan HKUST-1 standar. Morfologi HKUST-1 hasil sintesis berbentuk oktahedral teratur. Penambahan Zeolit-Y mempengaruhi keseragaman morfologi HKUST-1. Material hasil sintesis diaplikasikan sebagai adsorben Congo Red dalam air. Pengukuran kapasitas adsorpsi keseluruhan material hasil sintesis menunjukkan bahwa HKUST-1 memiliki kapasitas adsorpsi tertinggi sebesar 106,78 mg/g. Semua material hasil sintesis menunjukkan kinetika adsorpsi orde dua semu dan isotermal adsorpsi Langmuir.

HKUST-1 and Zeolite-Y/HKUST-1 have been successfully synthesized using the solvothermal method with variations in the addition of Zeolite-Y mass to the mass of HKUST- 1 of 5, 10 and 20%. The results of the synthesis in the form of blue solids are denoted as HKUST-1, ZY(5)/HKUST-1, ZY(10)/HKUST-1, and ZY(20)/HKUST-1, respectively. The synthesized material was characterized by XRD, FTIR, and SEM-EDX instruments. The diffractogram pattern of all the synthesized materials, shows a typical peak at 2θ around 6.5; 9.2; 11.4; and 13.2° which corresponds to the HKUST-1 standard diffractogram pattern. In the FTIR spectra of the synthesized material, it was observed that the absorption band that appeared at a certain wave number was the same as the standard HKUST-1 absorption band. The morphology of HKUST-1 was synthesized in regular octahedral form. The addition of Zeolite- Y affected the morphological uniformity of HKUST-1. The synthesized material was applied as an adsorbent for Congo Red in water. The measurement of the total adsorption capacity showed that HKUST-1 had the highest adsorption capacity of 106.78 mg/g. All material synthesis results showed pseudo second order adsorption kinetics and Langmuir isothermal adsorption.
