Abstract
Dalam upaya menjaga kontinuitas pasokan listrik PLTM Santong, penulis menerapkan metode pemeliharaan Autonomous On-Grid Maintenance. Metode Autonomous Maintenance merupakan salah satu pilar utama dalam Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) yang melibatkan operator secara langsung dalam kegiatan pemeliharaan dasar PLTM untuk mencegah penurunan kondisi peralatan melalui pembersihan, pelumasan, inspeksi, dan pengencangan rutin. Implementasi Autonomous Maintenance diterapkan bersamaan dengan langkah terobosan yang inovatif pada Cooling Water System (CWS) yaitu dengan penambahan sand trap dan line pemipaan. Autonomous Maintenance yang diterapkan membuat kegiatan pemeliharaan dapat dilakukan secara On-Grid, yaitu kondisi dimana unit PLTM tetap beroperasi dan terhubung dengan jaringan kelistrikan selama pemeliharaan berlangsung. Yang mana hal tersebut bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kinerja PLTM. Autonomous On-Grid Maintenance berhasil mengatasi permasalahan endapan pasir pada CWS sehingga tekanan air pendingin menjadi stabil pada kisaran 5,7-6,2 Bar. Kondisi ini meningkatkan efektifitas perpindahan panas yang selanjutnya berkontribusi pada penurunan temperatur bearing dari 47°C-45°C-58°C menjadi 39°C-36°C-48°C. Pada Triwulan IV tahun 2025 kinerja PLTM Santong juga menunjukkan peningkatan. Hal ini tercermin dari kenaikan Capacity Factor yang semula 35,39% menjadi 49,40% dan selanjutnya menjadi 52,10%, sementara Availability Factor meningkat dari 73,33% menjadi 86,77% dan selanjutnya meningkat menjadi 95,56%. Produksi energi listrik juga meningkat dari 256.279 kWh menjadi 355.646 kWh dan kemudian meningkat menjadi 387.648 kWh. Selain itu, efektivitas waktu pemeliharaan juga mengalami peningkatan dari 51% menjadi 77%. Dampak finansial yang dihasilkan juga positif, yaitu terjadi penurunan kerugian akibat kehilangan potensi penjualan energi listrik dari Rp 143.469.371 menjadi Rp 66.264.828, dan selanjutnya menurun menjadi Rp 7.629.894. Secara keseluruhan penerapan metode Autonomous On-Grid Maintenance mampu mengurangi pemborosan waktu pemeliharaan, memperbesar porsi keterlibatan operator dalam kegiatan pemeliharaan dasar, serta meningkatkan kinerja PLTM Santong.

In an effort to maintain the continuity of the Santong Mini-Hydro Power Plant's electricity supply, the author implemented the Autonomous On-Grid Maintenance method. Autonomous Maintenance is a key pillar of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), directly involving operators in basic Mini-Hydro Power Plant maintenance activities to prevent equipment degradation through routine cleaning, lubrication, inspection, and tightening. The implementation of Autonomous Maintenance was implemented in conjunction with innovative breakthroughs in the Cooling Water System (CWS), including the addition of sand traps and piping lines. The Autonomous Maintenance implementation allows maintenance activities to be carried out On-Grid, meaning the Mini-Hydro Power Plant unit remains operational and connected to the electricity Grid during maintenance. This aims to improve the Mini-hydro Power Plant’s performance. Autonomous On-Grid Maintenance successfully resolved the sand deposit problem in the CWS so that the cooling water pressure stabilized at 5.7-6.2 Bar. This condition increased the effectiveness of heat transfer which further contributed to a decrease in bearing temperature from 47°C-45°C-58°C to 39°C-36°C-48°C. In the fourth quarter of 2025, the performance of the Santong Mini-Hydro Power Plant also showed improvement. This was reflected in the increase in Capacity Factor from 35.39% to 49.40% and then to 52.10%, while the Availability Factor increased from 73.33% to 86.77% and then to 95.56%. Electricity production also increased from 256,279 kWh to 355,646 kWh and then to 387,648 kWh. In addition, the effectiveness of maintenance time also increased from 51% to 77%. The resulting financial impact was also positive, with losses due to lost electricity sales decreasing from IDR 143,469,371 to IDR 66,264,828, and then further decreasing to IDR 7,629,894. Overall, the implementation of the Autonomous On-Grid Maintenance method reduced wasted maintenance time, increased operator involvement in basic maintenance activities, and improved the performance of the Santong Mini-Hydro Power Plant.
