Abstract

Kebutuhan dan konsumsi akan bahan bakar minyak terus mengalami peningkatan seiring dengan adanya pertumbuhan jumlah penduduk di Indonesia. Ketergantungan terhadap energi fosil, terutama minyak bumi dalam pemenuhan konsumsi di dalam negeri masih tinggi. Berdasarkan produk yang dihasilkan, pabrik menghasilkan produk intermediet berupa selulosa, dan hemiselulosa untuk bahan pembuatan dari bioetanol. Berdasarkan kriteria yang ada, maka pabrik ini menggunakan Tandan Kosong Kelapa Sawit sebagai bahan baku. Tandan Kosong Kelapa Sawit merupakan Limbah padat hasil perkebunan Kelapa Sawit. Diharapkan pabrik ini dapat memenuhi kebutuhan bioethanol Indonesia sebesar 23 %, sehingga direncanakan pabrik ini beroperasi dengan kapasitas produksi sebanyak 13.485.883,95 liter per tahun dengan asumsi 330 hari produksi tiap tahunnya. Proses produksi terbagi menjadi 3 unit proses pre-treatment steam explosion, pengendapan hemiselulosa, dan proses delignifikasi menggunakan aldehida primer yaitu formaldehyde. Sumber dana investasi berasal dari modal sendiri sebesar 50 % biaya investasi dan pinjaman jangka pendek sebesar 50% biaya investasi dengan bunga sebesar 8 % per tahun. Dari Analisa perhitungan ekonomi didapat hasil Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) yang dihitung dengan menjumlahkan modal tetap dan modal kerja senilai sebesar Rp 595.280.179.667,47. Sedangkan perhitungan ekonomi Operational Expenditure (OPEX) yang dihitung dari perhitungan biaya produksi langsung, biaya tetap, biaya plant overhead, dan biaya pengeluaran umum senilai Rp 410.073.294.740,26. Selain itu didapatkan Analisa perhitungan ekonomi NPV>0, IRR : 22,93 %, POT : 4,09 tahun, BEP : 37,61 %.Dari nilai secara keseluruhan, rata-rata %IRR, BEP, dan POT masih menunjukkan bahwa pabrik fraksinasi dari Tandan Kosong Kelapa Sawit ini layak untuk didirikan.

The need and consumption of fuel oil continues to increase in line with the growth of the population in Indonesia. Dependence on fossil energy, especially petroleum in fulfilling domestic consumption is still high. Based on the resulting product, the factory produces intermediate products in the form of cellulose, and hemicellulose for the manufacture of bioethanol. Based on the existing criteria, this factory uses Oil Palm Empty Fruit Bunches as raw material. Oil palm empty fruit bunches are solid waste from oil palm plantations. It is expected that this plant can meet Indonesia's bioethanol needs by 23%, so it is planned that this plant will operate with a production capacity of 13,485,883.95 liters per year with the assumption of 330 production days per year. The production process is divided into 3 units of steam explosion pre-treatment process, hemicellulose deposition, and the delignification process using a primary aldehyde, namely formaldehyde. Sources of investment funds come from own capital of 50% investment costs and short-term loans of 50% investment costs with an interest rate of 8% per year. From the analysis of economic calculations obtained the results of Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) which is calculated by adding up fixed capital and working capital of Rp 595.280.179.667,47. While the economic calculation of Operational Expenditure (OPEX) which is calculated from the calculation of direct production costs, fixed costs, plant overhead costs, and general expenditure costs is Rp. 410.073.294.740,26. In addition, the economic calculation analysis obtained NPV>0, IRR: 22,93 %, POT: 4,09 years, BEP: 37,61 %. From the overall value, the average %IRR, BEP, and POT are still shows that the fractionation factory from Empty Oil Palm Fruit Bunches is feasible to establish.
