Abstract
Termokromik merupakan material cerdas yang dapat merespon perubahan temperatur menjadi perubahan warna. Perubahan warna ini dapat dikuantifikasi melalui spektrum absorbansi dalam rentang UV-vis. Dengan kuantifikasi tersebut, maka material termokromik dapat dimanfaatkan untuk aplikasi sensor temperatur. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan preparasi dan karakterisasi lapisan termokromik untuk sensor temperatur dimana pengaruh medium termokromik terhadap karakteristik temperatur transisinya telah dievaluasi. Penelitian ini mengadopsi metode polymer assosiated deposition untuk melapisi termokromik di atas kaca preparat untuk membentuk lapisan termokromik. Temperatur transisi material termokromik ditentukan menggunakan analisis fitting sigmoidal pada perubahan nilai absorbansi puncak serapan terhadap perubahan temperatur, sedangkan penentuan parameter medium yang berpengaruh terhadap temperatur transisi dianalisis menggunakan analisis fitting linier. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat indeks bias dan polaritas pada suatu medium mempengaruhi temperatur transisi TCM. Hasil fabrikasi lapisan TCM menunjukkan bahwa lapisan termokromik terbaik untuk digunakan sebagai sensor temperatur, yaitu komposisi matriks (PMMA:PVP) dan filler (termokromik) sebesar 1) 1:0 dan 7wt%, 2) 1:4 dan 5wt%, 3) 0:1 dan 7wt%.

Thermochromic is an intelligent material that can respond to changes in temperature to change color. This color change can be quantified through the absorbance spectrum in the UV-vis range. Through this quantification, the thermochromic material can be used for temperature sensor applications. In this study, the preparation and characterization of the thermochromic layer for the temperature sensor was carried out in which the effect of the thermochromic medium on the characteristics of the transition temperature was evaluated. The polymer associated deposition method is adopted to coat the thermochromic on the glass slide to form a thermochromic layer. The transition temperature of the thermochromic material was determined using sigmoidal fitting analysis on changes in the absorbance value of the absorption peak with changes in temperature, while the determination of the parameters of the medium that affect the transition temperature was analyzed using linear fitting analysis. The results showed that there is a refractive index and polarity in a medium that affects the TCM transition temperature. TCM layer fabrication results show that the best thermochromic layer to be used as a temperature sensor, namely the matrix composition (PMMA:PVP) and filler (thermochromic) of 1) 1:0 and 7wt%, 2) 1:4 and 5wt%, 3) 0 :1 and 7wt%.
