Abstract

CV. XYZ merupakan perusahaan manufaktur yang bergerak dalam bidang pengolahan kertas karton dan terletak di Kota Surabaya. Seiring dengan permintaan kemasan karton yang terus meningkat, intensitas kegiatan di lantai produksi juga ikut meningkat, sayangnnya pada lantai produksi CV. XYZ masih sering terjadi kecelakaan kerja. Maka dari itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan memberikan rekomendasi langkah penanganan untuk mengatasi atau meminimalisir risiko kecelakaan kerja yang ada pada lantai produksi CV. XYZ. Identifikasi, analisis, dan evaluasi risiko dilakukan pada enam tahapan proses produksi dengan menggunakan metode Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA). Berdasarkan hasil identifikasi risiko kecelakaan kerja yang dilakukan didapatkan 75 risiko kecelakaan kerja, namun terdapat beberapa risiko yang ditemukan berulang dengan karakteristik yang sama pada proses yang sama, sehingga dapat dipersempit menjadi 57 risiko kecelakaan kerja. Kemudian dilakukan penilaian tingkat severity, occurance, dan detection untuk mendapatkan nilai Risk Priority Number (RPN), kemudian hasil penilaian digunakan untuk melakukan kategorisasi level risiko dan dilakukan penentuan risiko prioritas dengan menggunakan pareto 80/20. Berdasarkan hasil pareto didapatkan 8 jenis risiko prioritas yaitu operator menghirup serpihan material (R20), mata operator terkena serpihan material (R19), operator terpapar zat kimia (R50), operator tidak kuat saat menurunkan tumpukan karton (R2), kaki operator tertabrak atau terlindas trolley (R35), tangan operator tersayat pinggiran kardus (R30), operator terkena sengatan listrik (R37), dan operator tertimpa tumpukan karton (R57) kemudian akan dibentuk rekomendasi langkah penanganan terhadap masing-masing risiko. Didapatkan 6 rekomendasi langkah penanganan untuk menangani 8 risiko prioritas kecelakaan kerja tersebut. Selanjutnya rekomendasi langkah penanganan tersebut diintegrasikan kedalam metode TOPSIS untuk mendapatkan ranking masing-masing rekomendasi sehingga mengetahui urutan rekomendasi yang terbaik. Untuk menentukan rekomendasi terbaik terdapat 4 kriteria yang menjadi pertimbangan perusahaan, yaitu manfaat, biaya, adaptasi, dan durability. Setelah itu dilakukan penilaian kriteria masing-masing rekomendasi penanganan dengan hasil akhir berupa Risk Priority Index (RPI). Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan metode TOPSIS didapatkan bahwa briefing dan checklist penggunaan alat pelindung diri sebelum memulai kerja (A2) merupakan rekomendasi yang terbaik, dengan nilai RPI 0,67.

CV. XYZ is a manufacturing company engaged in the processing of cardboard packaging and is located in the city of Surabaya. Along with the increasing demand for cardboard packaging, the intensity of activities on the production floor also increases. Unfortunately, there are still many work accidents encountered on production floor of CV. XYZ. Therefore, this research aims to analyze and provide recommendations for treatment strategies to overcome or minimize the risk of work accidents that exist on the production floor of CV. XYZ. Risk identification, analysis, and evaluation are carried out at six stages of the production process using the Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) method. Based on the results of the identification of occupational accident risks, 75 risks of work accidents were obtained, but there were several risks that were found to be repeated with the same characteristics in the same process, so that it could be narrowed down to 57 risks of work accidents. The assessment of the severity, occurrence, and detection levels is carried out to obtain the Risk Priority Number (RPN), then the results of the assessment are used to categorize risk levels and determine priority risk using Pareto 80/20. Based on the Pareto results, it was obtained that there were 8 types of priority risks, namely the operator inhaling material debris (R20), the operator's eye exposed to material debris (R19), the operator exposed to chemicals (R50), the operator is not strong when lowering the pile of cardboard (R2), the operator's foot is hit or run over the trolley (R35), the operator's hand is cut on the edge of the cardboard (R30), the operator was electrocuted (R37), and the operator is hit by a pile of cardboard (R57) then recommendations for treatment strategies will be made for each risk. There are 6 recommendations for treatment strategies to deal with the 8 priority risks of work accidents. Furthermore, the recommendations for treatment strategies are integrated into the TOPSIS method to get the ranking of each treatment strategy to be put into consideration. To determine the best treatment strategy, there are 4 criteria considered by the company, namely benefits, costs, adaptation, and durability. After that, an assessment of the criteria for each treatment strategy is carried out with the final result in the form of a Risk Priority Index (RPI). Based on the calculation results of the TOPSIS method, it was found that the briefing and checklist for the use of personal protective equipment before starting work (A2) is the best treatment strategy, with an RPI value of 0.67.
