Abstract

Aset merupakan bagian penting dari sebuah industri. Khususnya dalam industri manufaktur dimana banyak aset yang berperan selama proses produksi berlangsung. PT XYZ merupakan salah satu industri manufaktur peralatan pertahanan yang ada di Indonesia. Aset yang berperan penting selama proses produksi salah satunya adalah crane. Aset crane ini berfungsi sebagai salah satu alat material handling selama proses produksi. Jika crane mengalami masalah maka akan berdampak pada proses material handling dan berpengaruh kepada proses produksi juga. Ditemukan sebuah permasalahan bahwa crane banyak yang tidak dapat digunakan untuk kegiatan operasional yang diakibatkan oleh adanya aktivitas pemeliharaan, sehingga availbilitasnya menjadi rendah. Hal ini merupakan salah satu akibat dari pengelolaan aset yang kurang baik sehingga proses pemeliharaan yang lama. Disamping itu banyak keluhan mengenai spare parts yang dibutuhkan selama proses pemeliharaan kurang memadai jumlahnya. Permasalahan ini dapat diselesaikan dengan konsep Reliability Centered Asset Management (RCAM). Dengan konsep ini kita dapat menentukan strategi pemeliharaan yang optimal untuk aset crane dengan mengacu pada biaya pemeliharaan serta frekuensi kerusakan. Hasil akhirnya akan menampilkan rekomendasi perbaikan untuk strategi pemeliharaan melalui Asset Management Plan (AMP).

Assets are an important part of an industry. Especially in the manufacturing industry where many assets play a role during the production process. PT XYZ is one of the defense equipment manufacturing industries in Indonesia. One of the assets that play an important role during the production process is cranes. This crane asset serves as one of the material handling tools during the production process. If the crane experiences problems, it will have an impact on the material handling process and affect the production process as well. It was found that many cranes could not be used for operational activities due to maintenance activities, so the availbility became low. This is one of the consequences of poor asset management resulting in a long maintenance process. In addition, there are many complaints about spare parts needed during the maintenance process are inadequate in number. This problem can be solved with the concept of Reliability Centered Asset Management (RCAM). With this concept we can determine the optimal maintenance strategy for crane assets by referring to maintenance costs as well as the frequency of damage. The final result will display recommendations for improvements to the maintenance strategy through the Asset Management Plan (AMP).
