Abstract
Asesmen kondisi kerja petani garam perlu dilakukan, sebab proses produksi dan peralatan yang digunakan tergolong tradisional. Aspek manusia sangat berperan penting dari hulu hingga hilir dalam proses pembuatan garam, sehingga rentan terhadaap risiko cedera dan berpotensi mengalami kecelakaan kerja. Perlu adanya alat ukur khusus untuk mengetahui kondisi kerja di lingkungan pegaraman. Sehingga dalam penelitian ini, melakukan perancangan Ergonomic Checkpoints (EC) untuk mengevaluasi aktivitas atau kondisi kerja pada pertanian garam dan memberikan usulan perbaikan di tempat kerjanya. Penyusunan EC pada pertanian garam mengacu pada EC yang telah disusun oleh ILO bersama IEA. Pemilihan faktor utama dan sub faktor berdasarkan hasil penyebaran kuesioner pada sejumlah narasumber ahli, diantaranya Dosen Ergonomi, Peneliti garam, dan pemilik lahan. Metode yang digunakan untuk prioritas faktor utama menggunakan Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). Kemudian merancang Ergonomic Checkpoints in Saltworks (ECS) dan melakukan scoring model. Dilanjut dengan melakukan trial test pada petani garam dan dilakukan uji validitas dan uji reliabilitas pada hasil jawaban responden, sehingga dapat dianalisa usulan perbaikan kerja pada pertanian pegaraman. Hasil penelitian terdapat 12 main factors dan 107 sub factors yang digunakan dalam Ergonomic Checkpoints in Saltworks (ECS). Prioritas utama dari hasil pembobotan yakni Physical Factors dengan bobot 0,430, prioritas kedua yakni Cognitive Factors dengan bobot 0,339 dan ketiga Organizational Factors dengan bobot 0,231. Selain itu, diperlukan usulan perbaikan pada setiap main factors, seperti pada main factors persiapan lahan perbaikan kerja yang perlu dilakukan petani garam yakni hindari posiis kerja jongkok terus-menerus saat meratakan lahan.

An assessment of the working conditions of salt farmers needs to be carried out, because the production process and equipment used are traditional. The human aspect plays an important role from upstream to downstream in the process of making salt, so it is vulnerable to the risk of injury and has the potential to have work accidents. It is necessary to have a special measuring instrument to determine the working conditions in the salt environment. So in this study, designing Ergonomic Checkpoints to evaluate activities or working conditions on salt farming and provide suggestions for improvements in the workplace. The preparation of the Ergonomic Checkpoint (EC) on salt farming refers to the EC that has been prepared by the ILO and the IEA. The selection of the main factors and sub-factors was based on the results of distributing questionnaires to a number of expert sources, including Ergonomics Lecturers, Salt Researchers, and Land Owners. The method used to prioritize the main factors using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). Then design Ergonomic Checkpoints in Saltworks (ECS) and do a scoring model. Followed by conducting trial tests on salt farmers and testing the validity and reliability tests on the results of respondents' answers, so that the proposed work improvement in salt farming can be analyzed. The results of the study contained 12 main factors and 107 sub factors used in Ergonomic Checkpoints in Saltworks (ECS). The main priority of the weighting results is Physical Factors with a weight of 0.430, the second priority is Cognitive Factors with a weight of 0.339 and the third Organizational Factors with a weight of 0.231. In addition, it is necessary to propose improvements to each of the main factors , such as the main factor of land preparation, improvement of work that needs to be done by salt farmers, namely avoiding continuous squatting positions when leveling the land.
