Abstract
Multibeam echosounders merupakan alat pengukur kedalaman yang memanfaatkan sinyal akustik dan menangkap data hamburan balik untuk identifikasi sedimen perairan. Akibat dinamika laut, aspek batimetri dan sedimentasi pada suatu wilayah terus mengalami perubahan secara spasial-temporal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perubahan nilai batimetri dan sebaran sedimen di permukaan dasar laut secara multitemporal. Data yang digunakan merupakan data survei Bulan April dan Juli 2021 dari MBES Kongsberg EM304 di wilayah Selat Sagewin, Provinsi Papua Barat yang diakuisisi dengan Kapal Baruna Jaya III. Kapal Baruna Jaya III merupakan kapal milik Badan Riset dan Inovasi Nasional (BRIN) yang dibuat pada tahun 1990 dan telah menempuh banyak misi pemetaan, salah satunya pemetaan wilayah Selat Sagewin yang termasuk dalam regional Kepulauan Raja Ampat. Penelitian ini menggunakan perangkat pengolahan SwathED yang merupakan software open source dan dikembangkan oleh Ocean Mapping Group (OMG), University of New Brunswick. Dari penelitian ini, dihasilkan rentang nilai selisih batimetri yang merupakan hasil analisis perbandingan dari data survei Bulan April dan Juli 2021. Rentang selisih nilai batimetri berkisar antara -5 meter hingga 7 meter. Sedangkan untuk pengolahan backscatter, didapatkan 4 (empat) jenis klasifikasi, yaitu jenis batuan (boulder) dengan rentang intensitas -9 dB sampai dengan - 22 dB, jenis kerikil (gravel) dengan rentang intensitas -23 dB sampai dengan -34 dB, jenis pasir (sand) dengan rentang intensitas -35 dB sampai dengan -48 dB, serta jenis lumpur (mud) dengan rentang nilai -49 dB sampai dengan -50 dB. Luasan jenis batuan (boulder) memiliki luasan total 1,392% pada Bulan April dan 14,956% pada Bulan Juli. Jenis kerikil (gravel) memiliki luasan total 46,443% pada Bulan April dan 65,452% pada Bulan Juli. Jenis pasir (sand) memiliki luasan 50,074% pada Bulan April dan 19,535% pada Bulan Juli. Jenis lumpur (mud) memiliki luasan 2,091% pada Bulan April dan 0,057% pada Bulan Juli. Perubahan jenis sedimen terjadi sebanyak 50,477% dari total luasan dan sisa 49,523% dari total luasan tidak mengalami perubahan.

Multibeam echosounder is a depth measuring instrument that uses acoustic signals and captures backscattering data for identification of seabed sediments. As a result of ocean dynamics, the aspects of bathymetry and sedimentation in an area are changing temporally. This study aims to determine the change in bathymetric values and distribution of seabed sediments multitemporally. This study used April and July survey data 2021 from MBES Kongsberg EM304 in the Sagewin Strait, West Papua which was acquired by the Baruna Jaya III ship. The Baruna Jaya III ship is a ship belonging to the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) which was built in 1990 and has taken many mapping missions, one of which is mapping the Sagewin Strait area which is included in the Raja Ampat Islands region. This research uses SwathEd processing device which is open source software and was developed by Ocean Mapping Group (OMG), University of New Brunswick. From this study, a range of bathymetry values is the result of a comparative analysis of survey data for April and July 2021. The difference in bathymetry values ranges from -5 meters to 7 meters. As for backscatter processing, there are 4 (four) types of classification, such as boulder with an intensity range of -9 dB to -22 dB, gravel with an intensity range of -23 dB to -34 dB, sand with an intensity range of -35 dB to -48 dB, and mud with a value range of -49 dB to -50 dB. The area of boulder type has a total area of 1.392% in April and 14.956% in July. The area of gravel type has a total area of 46.443% in April and 65.452% in July. The area of sand type has a total area of 50.074% in April and 19.535% in July. The area of mud type has a total area of 2.091% in April and 0.057% in July. Changes in sediment type occurred as much as 50.477% of the total area and the remaining 49.523% of the total area did not change.
