Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kecamatan Galing, Kabupaten Sambas, Kalimantan Barat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kedalaman dan ketebalan air tanah. Manfaat penelitian ini dapat memberikan informasi kepada masyarakat terkait kedalaman air tanah berdasarkan nilai resistivitas. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode vertical electrical sounding (VES) konfigurasi schlumberger. Data diambil pada 5 titik pengukuran. Hasil pengukuran menunjukkan rentang nilai resistivitas batuan berkisar antara 81.2 Ωm sampai 42039 Ωm. Hasil nilai resistivitas, menunjukkan pada daerah penelitian terdapat litologi berupa lempung, lempung lanau dan batu gamping. Hasil identifikasi menunjukkan pada daerah penelitian terdapat lapisan batuan pembawa air berupa akuitar dan akuifer tertekan dengan nilai resistivitas 332.5 Ωm, 451 Ωm, 813 Ωm.

This research was conducted in Galing District, Sambas Regency, West Kalimantan. This study aims to identify the depth and thickness of groundwater. The benefits of this research can provide information to the public regarding the depth of groundwater based on resistivity values. The method used in this research is the vertical electrical sounding (VES) method with Schlumberger configuration. Data was taken at 5 measurement points. The measurement results show the range of rock resistivity values ranging from 81.2 Ωm to 42039 Ωm. The results of the resistivity value show that in the research area there are lithologies in the form of clay, silt clay and limestone. The identification results show that in the study area there is a water-carrying rock layer in the form of Aquitard and Depressed Aquifer with resistivity values of 332.5, Ωm 451 Ωm, 813 Ωm.
