Abstract
Lapangan “S” merupakan salah satu lapangan yang berada di Cekungan Kutai yang sudah sejak lama melakukan produksi migas, sehingga perlu dilakukan pengembangan untuk meningkatkan produksi. Dengan menerapkan metode analisis amplitude variation with offset (AVO) dan inversi Extended Elastic Impedance (EEI) diharapkan dapat mengetahui anomaly kelas AVO reservoir batupasir dan persebarannya pada daerah penelitian. Data yang dibutuhkan pada penelitian ini meliputi data sumur, data checkshot, Horizon, dan data seismik 3D prestack. Berdasarkan analisis sensitivitas crossplot, diketahui log yang sensitif dalam memisahkan litologi adalah Vp/Vs rasio dengan cut off sebesar 1.95. Selanjutnya parameter sensitif yang didapat, dilakukan crosscorrelation dengan log EEI dimana didapatkan nilai korelasi optimum sebesar 0.989 dengan sudut chi 520. Kemudian dilakukan analisis AVO pada daerah penelitian yang menunjukkan bahwa zona target merupakan gas-sand kelas IV. Setelah didapat sudut chi yang paling optimum, dilakukan analisis sensitivitas log EEI untuk membedakan antara zona hidrokarbon dengan zona brine. Dari hasil analisis sensitivitas untuk pemisahan fluida brine dan hidrokarbon memperlihatkan bahwa log EEI cukup sensitif. Untuk membedakan fluida brine dan hidrokarbon dilakukan cut off, didapatkan cut off EEI pada zona hidrokarbon sebesar 6200 m/s*g/cc dengan nilai cut off gamma ray sebesar 125 API. Kemudian untuk mengetahui persebaran reservoir batupasir dilakukan inversi menggunakan Metode Model Based Hard Constraint, berdasarkan hasil inversi EEI menunjukkan bahwa lapisan dengan litologi batupasir memiliki nilai EEI berkisar 6000 – 6200 (m/s(g/cc). Kemudian dilakukan Slicing pada zona target untuk memetakan Persebaran batupasir, didapat bahwa reservoir batupasir pada daerah penelitian tersebar dari barat laut ke tenggara dengan ketebalan lapisan 28.9 m.

The “S” field is one of the fields in the Kutai Basin which has been producing oil and gas for a long time, so it is necessary to develop it to increase production. By applying the analysis method of amplitude variation with offset (AVO) and Extended Elastic Impedance (EEI) inversion, it is expected to be able to find out the AVO class anomaly of the sandstone reservoir and its distribution in the study area. The data needed in this study include well data, checkshot data, Horizon, and pre-stack 3D seismic data. Based on crossplot sensitivity analysis, it is known that the log which is sensitive in separating lithology is the Vp/Vs ratio with a cut off of 1.95. Furthermore, the sensitive parameters obtained, cross-correlation with the EEI log was obtained where the optimum correlation value was 0.989 with a chi angle of 520. Then an AVO analysis was carried out in the study area which showed that the target zone was gas-sand class IV. After obtaining the most optimum chi angle, a sensitivity analysis of the EEI log was carried out to distinguish between the hydrocarbon zone and the brine zone. The results of the sensitivity analysis for the separation of brine and hydrocarbon fluids show that the EEI log is quite sensitive. To distinguish the brine and hydrocarbon fluids, a cut off was made, the EEI cut off in the hydrocarbon zone was 6200 m/s*g/cc with a gamma ray cut off value of 125 API. Then to find out the distribution of the sandstone reservoir, an inversion was carried out using the Model Based Hard Constraint Method, based on the results of the EEI inversion showing that the layer with sandstone lithology had an EEI value ranging from 6000 – 6200 (m/s(g/cc). Then Slicing was carried out on the target zone to map Distribution of sandstone, it was found that the sandstone reservoir in the study area is spread from northwest to southeast with a layer thickness of 28.9 m.
