Abstract

Kebutuhan jaring tenaga listrik untuk skala besar saat ini membutuhkan optimisasi kompensasi daya reaktif. Operator sistem bertanggung jawab untuk menjaga keamanan daya dan merupakan suplai kepada konsumen, memastikan tegangan pada setiap busbar tetap dalam batas diperbolehkan untuk menjaga kualitas dan keamanan. Perencanaan kompensasi daya reaktif dicapai dengan mengalokasi peralatan kompensasi daya reaktif. Penelitian ini melakukan optimisasi kompensasi daya reaktif pada sistem jaring tenaga listrik dengan menggunakan Integer Genetic Algorithm (IGA), untuk menyelesaikan dua masalah bersama-sama yaitu optimisasi pemasangan peralatan baru dan operasional optimisasi pencegahan tap-trafo untuk pengatur karakteristik peralatan kompensasi dinamis. Pengunaan IGA sebelum dipasang bank kapasitor total daya pembangkit sebesar 7933,85 MW, total pemakaian beban sebesar 5056,66 MVAr, dan berdasarkan hasil simulasi untuk kompensasi daya reaktif yang terpasang pada jaring tenaga listrik sebesar 2400 MVAr maka mengakibatkan total daya pembangkit menjadi 7936,50 MW (naik sebesar 0,099 Yo), sedangkan total beban berkurang menjadi 2558,14 MV Ar atau sebesar 50,58 %.

Nowadays, large scale power system network needs an optimization on reactive power compensation. The system operator is responsible to maintain power security, to supply power to consumer, and to make sure all bus voltage still in appropriate range to maintain quality and security. Reactive power compénsation design can be achieved by allocating reactive power compensation device. This research’s objective is to optimize reactive power compensation on power system network using Integer Genetic Algorithm (IGA). To finish two problems together, those are new device installation optimization and operational optimization of transformator-tap parameter setting to control dynamics compensation. Using IGA before installed generator power, the total capacitor bank as big as 7933,85 MW, load used total as big as 5056,66 MVAr and based on simulation result to reactive power compensation that pair in electric power net as big as 2400 MVAr so causes generator power total is 7936,50 MW (rise as big as 0,099 Yo, while total load decreases to be 2558,14 MVAr or as big as 50,58 Yo.
