Abstract

Motivasi: Manusia berusaha keras untuk merawat fisiknya agar terlihat menarik, karena penampilan fisik seseorang memiliki dampak yang berarti pada pengalaman dan peluang hidup mereka. Perawatan fisik didominasi oleh kulit khususnya pengobatan jerawat yang menghadirkan beberapa tantangan seperti efek samping, rasa malas, dan resistensi antibiotik. Dengan demikian, masalah kualitas hidup dalam perawatannya perlu dipertimbangkan. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan pencarian peluang solusi untuk mengatasi permasalahan dalam pembiasaan dan kenyamanan pengguna pada perawatan jerawat mandiri. Metodologi: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode design thinking yang dimulai dari penggalian kebutuhan dan pengetahuan dari para ahli serta calon pengguna melalui wawancara. Kemudian pengolahan kebutuhan menghasilkan empathy map, user journey, dan point of view. Selanjutnya pengembangan ide menghasilkan bentuk solusi, perumusan aktivitas pengguna, elemen informasi, prinsip desain, dan konten. Setelah itu perancangan antarmuka pada level wireframe. Tahap terakhir yakni pengujian antarmuka untuk mengetahui umpan balik dan evaluasinya. Solusi: Gagasan yang diusulkan penulis ialah penerapan gamification system pada interaksi pengguna supaya dapat membiasakan diri dengan pendekatan atomic habits dan prochaska stage of change. Canned response juga diusulkan pada templat jawaban self journaling supaya memudahkan pengguna mencatat perasaannya. Kemudian grafik garis yang mengartikan kemajuan hasil perawatannya. Hasil: Pengguna memahami interaksi antarmuka dengan baik karena 85% asumsi telah terbukti. Sementara perbaikan yang perlu dilakukan adalah perubahan icon pada treatment wajah dan penambahan onboarding agar pengguna mematuhi aktivitas hingga level terakhir, serta para ahli membahas penambahan elemen informasi pada tingkat keparahan jerawat, informasi gizi, bahan farmasi, hambatan berpikir positif, dan perilaku saat melakukan workout.

Motivation: Humans strive to maintain their physical appearance to look attractive, because a person's physical appearance has significant impact on their life experiences and opportunities. Physical treatment is dominated by skin, especially acne treatment which presents several challenges such as side effects, laziness, and antibiotic resistance. Thus, the issue of quality of life in its treatment needs to be considered. In this study, the search for solution opportunities to overcome problems in the habituation and comfort of users in independent acne treatment was carried out. Methodology: This study uses design thinking method that starts from exploring the needs and knowledge of experts and potential users through interviews. Then processing the needs that produce an empathy map, user journey, and point of view. Next is the development of ideas that result in the form of solutions, formulation of user activities, information elements, design principles, and content. After that, designing interface at wireframe level. The last stage is usability testing to find out feedback and evaluation. Solution: The idea proposed by the author is the application of a gamification system in user interaction so that they can familiarize themselves with the atomic habits approach and the prochaska stage of change. Canned responses are also proposed for self-journaling answer templates to make it easier for users to record their feelings. Then a line graph that defines the progress of the treatment results. Result: User understands the interface interaction well because 85% of the assumptions have been proven. Thus, improvements that need to be made are changing the icon on facial treatments and adding onboarding so that users comply with activities to the last level. While the experts discussed the addition of information elements on the severity of acne, nutritional information, pharmaceutical ingredients, positive thinking barriers, and behavior while doing exercise.
