Abstract

Polytope merupakan generalisasi dari poligon di bidang atau polihedron di ruang berdimensi tiga yang dibatasi oleh bidang-bidang datar. Polytope dapat direpresentasikan dengan dua cara yaitu V-representasi dan H-representasi. Pada tugas akhir ini, dibahas mengenai representasi-V dari interior relatif suatu polytope. Fokus utama dalam tugas akhir ini adalah menentukan representasi-V dari interior relatif berdasarkan fungsi support pada himpunan polar dari polytope. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa representasi-V dari interior relatif dapat ditentukan dengan menggunakan karakteristik dari fungsi support dan operasi pada polytope.

A polytope is a generalization of a polygon in the plane or a polyhedron in three-dimensional space bounded by flat planes. Polytopes can be represented in two ways: V-representation and H-representation. In this final project, the V-representation of the relative interior of a polytope is discussed. The main focus of this final project is to determine the V-representation of the relative interior based on the support function of the polar set of the polytope. The results obtained show that the V-representation of the relative interior can be determined using the characteristics of the support function and operations on the polytope.
