Abstract

Peta kendali merupakan alat pengendali kualitas statistik yang digunakan untuk memantau proses secara terus menerus agar tetap berada dalam batas kendali.Peta kendali konvensional seperti Shewhart, EWMA, dan CUSUM biasanya didasarkan pada asumsi bahwa data yang diamati berdistribusi normal dan pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan simple random sampling.Namun, dalam situasi di mana pengukuran variabel sulit atau mahal, metode Ranked Set Sampling (RSS) dapat menjadi alternatif yang lebih efisien dibandingkan simple random sampling.Metode RSS memberikan estimasi parameter yang lebih tepat dengan ukuran sampel yang sama.Peta kendali berbasis RSS seperti NEWMA-RSS dan EEWMA-RSS telah dikembangkan untuk meningkatkan sensitivitas deteksi pergeseran proses yang kecil.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan kinerja antara peta kendali NEWMA-RSS dan EEWMA-RSS dalam mendeteksi pergeseran rata-rata proses pada PT. X.Kinerja peta kendali dievaluasi berdasarkan nilai Average Run Length (ARL).Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peta kendali EEWMA-RSS memberikan performa yang lebih baik dalam mendeteksi pergeseran proses yang kecil dibandingkan dengan NEWMA-RSS pada kondisi tertentu yang diuji.

The control chart is a statistical quality control tool used to monitor processes continuously to ensure they remain within control limits. Conventional control charts such as Shewhart, EWMA, and CUSUM are usually based on the assumption that the observed data are normally distributed and sampling is done using simple random sampling. However, in situations where variable measurement is difficult or expensive, the Ranked Set Sampling (RSS) method can be a more efficient alternative to simple random sampling. The RSS method provides more accurate parameter estimates with the same sample size. RSS-based control charts such as NEWMA-RSS and EEWMA-RSS have been developed to improve the sensitivity of detecting small process shifts. This study aims to compare the performance between NEWMA-RSS and EEWMA-RSS control charts in detecting process mean shifts at PT. X. The performance of the control charts is evaluated based on the Average Run Length (ARL) value. The results show that the EEWMA-RSS control chart provides better performance in detecting small process shifts compared to NEWMA-RSS under the specific conditions tested.
