Abstract
Eksplorasi terhadap tipologi konfigurasi ruang pada kawasan bersejarah merupakan salah satu pendekatan untuk mengenali potensi kawasan sebagai salah satu upaya preservasi dan pengembangan kawasan heritage. Konfigurasi ruang terbentuk karena adanya kegiatan manusia pada masa tertentu sehingga meninggalkan bentuk ruang berupa objek fisik Dinamika perkembangan Kota Pasuruan berdasarkan riwayat historis meninggalkan objek cagar budaya yang memiliki nilai dan potensi kesejarahan. Sayangnya, dinamika pada dewasa ini mengindikasikan pada kerusakan objek tersebut. Padahal, Pemerintah Kota Pasuruan melalui RPJMD tahun 2021 – 2026 sedang mengupayakan wisata heritage yang terintegrasi. Selain itu, berdasarkan dokumen RTRW Kota Pasuruan tahun 2021 – 2041, kawasan bersejarah ini diarahkan pengembangannya sebagai kawasan yang saling terhubung melalui jalur khusus. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah merumuskan arahan pengembangan kawasan heritage berdasarkan nilai cagar budaya dan konfigurasi ruang. Adapun untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut dilakukan beberapa tahapan yaitu (1) analisis nilai penting objek cagar budaya dengan metode analisis konten literatur sejarah, (2) analisis konfigurasi ruang kawasan heritage dengan metode space syntax, dan (3) perumusan arahan pengembangan kawasan heritage berdasarkan hasil analisis dari tahapan pertama dan kedua. Sehingga hasil dari penelitian ini berupa arahan untuk pengembangan kawasan heritage di Kota Pasuruan.

Exploration of the typology of spatial configuration in historical areas is one approach to identifying the area’s potential as an effort to preserve and develop the heritage area. The spatial configuration is formed due to human activities at a particular time so that it leaves the form of space in the shape of physical objects. Based on the recorded history, the development dynamics in Pasuruan City left cultural heritage objects with historical value and potential. Unfortunately, the current dynamics indicated the damage to the objects. It was seen from the land-use change that eliminated one of the historical buildings. The Pasuruan City Government, through the Regional Mid-Term Development Plan of 2021-2026, was working on integrated heritage tourism. In addition, based on the Regional Spatial Plan document of Pasuruan City for 2021 – 2041, this historical area was directed to be developed as an interconnected area through a specific route. This research aimed to formulate the development direction of heritage areas based on cultural heritage values and spatial configuration. Several steps were conducted to achieve the purpose, including (1) analysis of the importance of cultural heritage objects using the historical literature content analysis method; (2) analysis of the spatial configuration of the heritage area using the space syntax method; and (3) formulation of the development direction of heritage areas based on the results of the analysis of the first and second steps. Therefore, the results of this study were in the form of the development direction of heritage areas in Pasuruan City.
