Abstract

Alun-alun sebagai salah satu ruang terbuka publik yang memiliki fungsi signifikan dan proporsi yang sangat penting ditinjau dari berbagai aspek, baik aspel sosial, ekologis, ekonomi, bahkan estetika. Pada masa ini, ketersediaan ruang terbuka publik merupakan sebuah kebutuhan. Oleh karena itu, keberadaan alun-alun menjadi penting untuk aktivitas sosial masyarakat sekaligus menjadi bagian dari sebuah kehidupan kota ke depannya. Namun nyatanya masih banyak alun-alun yang masih belum mampu memerankan fungsinya dengan baik, salah satunya alun-alun Kabupaten Pamekasan. Pelayanan Alun-Alun Arek Lancor Kabupaten Pamekasan sebagai ruang sosio-cultural dirasa masih belum optimal. Indikasinya adalah minimnya fasilitas, prasarana umum, pengunjung, hingga peran RTH. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat efektivitas fungsi Kawasan Alun-Alun Arek Lancor sebagai ruang terbuka publik melalui pendekatan Sustainable Urban Landscape yang diintegrasikan dengan kriteria perancangan baik secara fisik maupun non fisik. Adapun faktor nya terbagi menjadi aspek connectivity, purpose, meaning, efficiency, dan stewardship. Sustainable Landscape merupakan perencanaan lanskap yang bersifat holistik karena dalam perencanaannya mengintegrasikan aspek sosial, ekonomi, estetika dan ekologis yang mendukung kualitas lingkungan dan konservasi sumber daya alam. Pengumpulan data primer pada penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara observasi dan kuesioner serta penggunaan dokumen sekunder. Teknik analisa yang digunakan adalah AHP untuk mengetahui kriteria prioritas dalam konsep Sustainable Urban Landscape berdasarkan masukan ahli, dilanjutkan dengan analisis skoring variabel dalam konsep Sustainable Urban Landscape dari hasil analisis sebelumnya yang didasarkan pada penilaian masyarakat setempat dan hasil observasi. Hasil akhir yang diperoleh yaitu penilaian efektivitas dari Alun-Alun Arek Lancor sebagai ruang terbuka publik dimana penilaian performa dari setiap aspek menunjukkan pelayanan Alun-Alun Arek Lancor berdasarkan preferensi masyarakat sudah baik sedangkan berdasarkan hasil observasi masih terdapat beberapa aspek yang kurang optimal. Hasil dari penelitian ini diharapkan bisa memberikan masukan kepada Pemerintah Kabupaten Pamekasan dalam perbaikan dan pengembangan Kawasan Alun-Alun Arek Lancor sebagai sebuah ruang publik yang estetik, nyaman dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan harapan masyarakat.

The square as one of the public open spaces that has significant functions and very important proportions in terms of various aspects, both social, ecological, economic, and even aesthetic aspects. At this time, the availability of public open space is a necessity. Therefore, the existence of the square is important for community social activities as well as being part of a city life in the future. But in fact there are still many squares that are still not able to play their functions properly, one of which is the Pamekasan District Square. The service of Arek Lancor Square in Pamekasan Regency as a socio-cultural space is still not optimal. The indication is the lack of facilities, public infrastructure, visitors, to the role of green open space This study aims to see the effectiveness of the function of Arek Lancor Square as a public open space through a Sustainable Urban Landscape approach that is integrated with design criteria both physically and non-physically. The factors are divided into aspects of connectivity, purpose, meaning, efficiency, and stewardship. Sustainable Landscape is a holistic landscape planning because the planning integrates social, economic, aesthetic and ecological aspects that support environmental quality and conservation of natural resources. Primary data collection in this study was carried out by means of observation, interviews and documentation as well as the use of secondary documents. The analytical technique used is AHP to determine the priority criteria in the Sustainable Urban Landscape concept based on expert input, followed by an analysis of variable scoring in the Sustainable Urban Landscape concept from the results of the previous analysis based on local community assessments. The final result obtained is an assessment of the effectiveness of Arek Lancor Square as a public open space where the performance assessment of each aspect shows that the services of Arek Lancor Square based on community preferences are good while based on observations there are still some aspects that are less than optimal. The results of this study are expected to provide input to the Pamekasan Regency Government in the improvement and development of the Arek Lancor Square Area as an aesthetic, comfortable and appropriate public space in accordance with the needs and expectations of the community.
