Abstract
Implementasi kadaster 3D di Indonesia memerlukan format data yang mampu mempertahankan informasi geometri dan semantik bangunan secara akurat serta mendukung interoperabilitas antarsistem. Dalam konteks Building Information Modeling (BIM), dua format data terbuka yang banyak digunakan adalah Industry Foundation Classes (IFC) dan Green Building XML (gbXML), tetapi keduanya memiliki karakteristik, struktur, dan tujuan pengembangan yang berbeda. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbedaan representasi geometri dan semantik antara IFC dan gbXML, mengevaluasi kemampuan keduanya dalam mendukung visualisasi model bangunan 3D berbasis web, serta menentukan format data yang paling sesuai untuk implementasi kadaster 3D di Indonesia. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan studi kasus Gedung Teknik Transportasi Laut ITS dengan model 3D yang dibuat berdasarkan as-built drawing menggunakan Autodesk Revit, kemudian diekspor ke dalam format IFC dan gbXML. Analisis dilakukan terhadap aspek geometrik, semantik, dan visualisasi berbasis web. Evaluasi geometri dilakukan melalui validasi visual model 3D dan pengujian akurasi dimensi menggunakan Root Mean Square Error (RMSE), evaluasi semantik dilakukan melalui pembacaan struktur data file untuk mengidentifikasi atribut ruang dan hubungan antarentitas, sedangkan evaluasi visualisasi berbasis web dilakukan menggunakan platform Cesium Ion. Seluruh hasil kemudian dibandingkan menggunakan metode Weighted Scoring Model (WSM) dengan nilai maksimum yang dapat diperoleh adalah 4,00. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa IFC memiliki performa yang lebih baik dibandingkan gbXML. Pada aspek geometrik, IFC memperoleh nilai RMSE 0,000 m, sedangkan gbXML 0,371 m. Pada aspek semantik, IFC mampu mempertahankan atribut ruang dan hubungan antarentitas secara lebih lengkap dan terstruktur. Pada aspek visualisasi berbasis web, hanya IFC yang berhasil divisualisasikan pada Cesium Ion, sedangkan gbXML tidak berhasil ditampilkan. Berdasarkan evaluasi performa, IFC memperoleh nilai akhir 4,00, sedangkan gbXML 1,91. Dengan demikian, IFC dinilai sebagai format data yang paling sesuai untuk mendukung pengembangan dan implementasi kadaster 3D di Indonesia.

The implementation of a 3D cadastre in Indonesia requires a data format capable of preserving building geometry and semantic information accurately while also supporting interoperability across systems. In the context of Building Information Modeling (BIM), two widely used open data formats are Industry Foundation Classes (IFC) and Green Building XML (gbXML). Although both are intended for building data exchange, they differ in structure, level of detail, and development purpose. This study aims to analyze the differences in geometric and semantic representation between IFC and gbXML, evaluate their capability to support web based 3D building visualization, and determine the most suitable data format for 3D cadastre implementation in Indonesia. The study was conducted using the ITS Sea Transportation Engineering Building as a case study. The 3D building model was developed from as-built drawings using Autodesk Revit, then exported to IFC and gbXML formats. The evaluation covered three aspects geometry, semantics, and web-based visualization. Geometric analysis was conducted through visual comparison and dimensional accuracy testing using Root Mean Square Error (RMSE). Semantic analysis was performed by examining the file structure to identify room attributes and relationships between entities. Web-based visualization evaluation was assessed using the Cesium Ion platform. The overall results were then compared using the Weighted Scoring Model (WSM), with a maximum possible score of 4.00. The research results show that IFC performs better than gbXML. In geometric representation, IFC achieved an RMSE value of 0.000 m, while gbXML showed an RMSE of 0.371 m. In semantic representation, IFC preserves room attributes and entity relationships in a more comprehensive and structured manner. In web-based visualization, only IFC could be successfully displayed in Cesium Ion, whereas gbXML could not be visualized. Based on the performance evaluation, IFC received a score of 4.00, while gbXML received a score of 1.91. Therefore, IFC is considered the more appropriate data format to support the development and implementation of 3D cadastral systems in Indonesia.
