Abstract

PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Integrated Terminal Surabaya memegang peranan penting dalam menjamin kualitas Pertalite dengan porsi konsumsi terbesar nasional. Tingginya permintaan produk sebagai bahan bakar kendaraan mengakibatkan perusahaan senantiasa berusaha menjamin kualitas produk tersebut. Saat ini, sistem pengendalian kualitas yang ada masih bersifat univariat, sehingga berisiko mendapatkan hasil penelitian yang kurang maksimal karena mengabaikan hubungan saling ketergantungan antar karakteristik kualitasnya. Kondisi ini dapat meloloskan produk dengan performa tidak maksimal meskipun setiap parameter individu masih berada dalam batas spesifikasi. Selain itu, ketiadaan alat bantu untuk memonitoring karakteristik kualitas juga menjadi tantangan bagi tim Quality Control dalam melakukan pengawasan secara real-time dan pengambilan keputusan yang cepat serta berbasis data. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur kinerja, mengidentifikasi masalah dan merancang Dashboard sebagai alat bantu untuk mengawasi proses pengelolaan Pertalite. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai kapabilitas proses pada fase I MCp dan MCpk sebesar 2,115 dan 1,050 mengalami peningkatan pada fase II menjadi 2,471 dan 1,394. Selain itu, penyebab observasi berada di luar batas kendali pada fase I yakni pada karakteristik kualitas Density at 150 C dan Distilation 50% Volume karena kelalaian pekerja, akurasi alat lab, cuaca dan kontaminasi tanki. Sedangkan pada fase II, penyebab observasi berada di luar batas kendali yakni pada karakteristik kualitas Reid Vapour Pressure karena kelalaian pekerja.

PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Integrated Terminal Surabaya plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality of Pertalite, which accounts for the largest share of national consumption. The high demand for the product as a vehicle fuel requires the company to continuously guarantee its quality. Currently, the existing quality control system is univariate, which risks yielding suboptimal results as it overlooks the interdependencies among quality characteristics. This condition can allow underperforming products to pass inspection even when each individual parameter is within specification limits. Furthermore, the absence of a tool for monitoring quality characteristics poses a challenge for the Quality Control team in conducting real-time supervision and making prompt, data-driven decisions. This research aims to measure performance, identify issues, and design a dashboard as a tool to monitor the Pertalite management process. The results show an improvement in the product management process capability, with the MCp and MCpk values increasing from 2.606 and 1.358 in Phase I to 2.825 and 1.525 in Phase II, respectively. Additionally, the causes for out-of-control observations in Phase I for the "Density at 15°C" and "Distillation 50% Volume" quality characteristics were identified as operator negligence, laboratory equipment accuracy, weather, and tank contamination. In Phase II, the cause of out-of-control observations for the "Reid Vapour Pressure" characteristic was attributed to operator negligence.
