Abstract

Direktorat Pengembangan Teknologi dan Sistem Informasi (DPTSI) Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) merupakan unit kerja yang bertanggung jawab atas pengembangan, pengelolaan, dan pemeliharaan infrastruktur teknologi serta sistem informasi di lingkungan kampus. Dalam mendukung digitalisasi layanan kampus, DPTSI mengembangkan berbagai platform digital, salah satunya adalah MyITS Courier, yaitu sistem yang dirancang untuk mendukung program kerja Biro Umum, Keamanan dan Keselamatan, Kesehatan Kerja dan Lingkungan (BUK4L) ITS dalam mengelola distribusi logistik internal. Sebelum adanya sistem ini, proses pengiriman dokumen dan barang antar unit kerja masih memerlukan digitalisasi untuk meningkatkan efisiensi administrasi, transparansi, dan kemudahan pelacakan. Melalui kegiatan Kerja Praktik ini, dilakukan pengembangan platform MyITS Courier untuk mendigitalisasi proses bisnis logistik internal kampus. Sistem yang dikembangkan menyediakan berbagai fungsionalitas, mulai dari manajemen penugasan kurir oleh admin, pembaruan status pengiriman, hingga pelacakan dokumen dan barang secara terintegrasi. Dengan adanya sistem ini, BUK4L dapat memantau dan mengelola distribusi logistik secara lebih efektif dan terstruktur. Untuk mendukung kebutuhan tersebut, MyITS Courier dikembangkan menggunakan arsitektur client-server dengan framework Next.js pada sisi frontend, bahasa pemrograman Go pada sisi backend, serta PostgreSQL sebagai sistem manajemen basis data.

The Directorate of Technology and Information Systems Development (DPTSI) at Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) is a working unit responsible for the development, management, and maintenance of technological infrastructure and information systems within the campus environment. To support the digitalization of campus services, DPTSI develops various digital platforms. One of them is MyITS Courier, a system designed to support the work programs of the Bureau of General Affairs, Security and Safety, Occupational Health and Environment (BUK4L) at ITS in managing internal logistics distribution. Prior to this system, the process of delivering documents and goods between work units still required digitalization to improve administrative efficiency, transparency, and ease of tracking. Through this Practical Work program, the development of the MyITS Courier platform was carried out to digitalize the campus's internal logistics business processes. The developed system provides various functionalities, ranging from courier assignment management by administrators and delivery status updates to the integrated tracking of documents and goods. With this system, BUK4L can monitor and manage logistics distribution more effectively and systematically. To support these needs, MyITS Courier was developed using a client-server architecture with the Next.js framework on the frontend, the Go programming language on the backend, and PostgreSQL as the database management system.
