Abstract

PENGEMBANGAN UTAUT DAN CUSTOMER JOURNEY Sistem informasi akademik berbasis Software as a Service (SaaS) telah menjadi trend baru dalam pengadaan aplikasi di perguruan tinggi. Dengan berbagai kelebihan yang dimiliki oleh sistem informasi akademik berbasis SaaS, banyak perguruan tinggi yang akhirnya memilih untuk beralih ke model layanan ini. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Explanatory Research dengan menggunakan metode Sequential Mixed Methods, yakni melakukan penelitian kuantitatif untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi penerimaan user terhadap penggunaan aplikasi sistem informasi akademik berbasis SaaS dengan mengembangkan model UTAUT yang diperluas dengan variabel Trust dan Quality of Service. Kemudian diperdalam dengan penelitian kualitatif untuk menganalisis penerimaan user dan pengalaman user dalam menggunakan aplikasi. Sampel yang digunakan untuk penelitian kuantitaif sebanyak 423 sampel. Berdasarkan hasil analisis GSCA, dari 7 hipotesis yang diuji, 2 hipotesis ditolak. Sedangkan hasil penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode wawancara terhadap 8 informan didapatkan hasil bahwa mayoritas informan merasakan manfaat dari penggunaan aplikasi meskipun terdapat kendala seperti koneksi internet yang lambat menjadi permasalahan utama yang dirasakan oleh user. Dari sisi pengalaman penggunaan berdasarkan hasil Customer Journey Mapping, didapatkan hasil bahwa user dosen senang dengan aplikasi, user tenaga kependidikan merasa jengkel dengan fitur dan hak akses di aplikasi dan user mahasiswa umumnya merasa biasa saja selama menggunakan aplikasi. Hasil penelitian ini bisa menjadi rekomendasi bagi vendor dan perguruan tinggi dalam mengembangkan dan mengimplementasikan sistem informasi akademik berbasis SaaS kedepannya.

Software as a Service (SaaS)-based academic information system has become a new trend in procuring applications in universities. With the various advantages possessed by a SaaS-based academic information system, many universities have finally chosen to switch to this service model. This research is an Explanatory Research using Sequential Mixed Methods, which is conducting quantitative research to analyze the factors that influence user acceptance of the use of SaaS-based academic information system applications by developing the UTAUT model which is expanded with Trust and Quality of Service variables. Then deepened with qualitative research to analyze user acceptance and user experience in using the application. The sample used for quantitative research is 423 samples. Based on the results of the GSCA analysis, of the 7 tested hypotheses, 2 were rejected. While the results of qualitative research using interviews with 8 informants showed that the majority of informants felt the benefits of using the application even though there were obstacles such as a slow internet connection being the main problem felt by users. In terms of usage experience based on the results of Customer Journey Mapping, it was found that lecturer users were happy with the application, educational staff users were annoyed with the features and access rights in the application and student users generally felt normal while using the application. The results of this research can be a recommendation for vendors and universities in developing and implementing a SaaS-based academic information system in the future.
