Abstract

Aktivitas yang terjadi dalam kehidupan manusia yang selalu bergerak untuk berpindah dari satu tempat ke tempat yang lain tidak bisa lepas dari transportasi. Peningkatan jumlah kendaraan, banyaknya kerusakan jalan, kemacetan, kecelakaan, polusi udara, dan masalah lain yang ada di di jalur Pantura, disebabkan oleh jumlah kendaraan yang melebihi kapasitas jalan. Banyaknya kendaraan yang berlalu lalang di jalan menyebabkan angka pengguna jalan semakin meningkat. Pada penelitian ini, akan dilakukan pengelompokan moda truk barang berdasarkan faktor karakteristik perjalanan, pelaku perjalanan, dan sistem transportasi di jalur pantura untuk kemudian memberikan rekomendasi kebijakan pengalihan ke moda lain pada moda truk barang di jalur Pantura dengan karakteristik yang paling dimungkinkan. Adapun metode yang akan digunakan untuk pengelompokan tersebut adalah mixed clustering, membandingkan antara k- prototype dan partition around medoids (PAM). Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa dengan metode PAM, karakteristik pengendara, truk dan barang di jalur Pantura dibagi menjadi tiga kelompok (Kluster). Kluster satu cenderung melakukan perjalanan jauh dengan frekuensi perjalanan lebih sedikit, sehingga dapat diusulkan untuk diberikan subsidi. Kluster dua cenderung melakukan perjalanan jarak dekat dan lebih sering mengangkut barang yang sukar busuk. Kelompok ini yang paling berpengaruh terhadap kepadatan jalan raya pantura sekaligus paling berpotensi untuk pemindahan moda, sehingga perlu kebijakan yang lebih tegas. Adapun karakteristik-karakteristik yang dimiliki Kluster tiga tergolong moderate dan cenderung mengangkut barang yang mudah busuk, sehingga saat ini transportasi barang melewati jalan raya masih merupakan pilihan yang cukup optimal untuk kelompok ini.

Activities that occur in human life that are always moving to move from one place to another cannot be separated from transportation. The increase in the number of vehicles, the number of road damage, congestion, accidents, air pollution, and other problems on the Pantura route, are caused by the number of vehicles exceeding the road capacity. The number of vehicles passing on the road causes the number of road users to increase. In this study, a grouping of goods truck modes will be carried out based on the characteristics of travel, travel agents, and the transportation system on the northern coast line to then provide policy recommendations for switching to other modes of goods truck mode on the northern coast route with the most possible characteristics. The method that will be used for the grouping is mixed clustering, comparing the k-prototype and partition around medoids (PAM). The results of the analysis show that with the PAM method, the characteristics of drivers, trucks and goods on the Pantura route are divided into three groups (clusters). Cluster one tends to travel long distances with less frequency of trips, so it can be proposed to be given a subsidy. Cluster two tends to travel short distances and transports perishable goods more frequently. This group has the most influence on the density of the north coast highway as well as the most potential for modal shifts, so a firmer policy is needed. The characteristics of Cluster three are moderate and tend to transport perishable goods, so that currently the transportation of goods by road is still an optimal choice for this group.
