Abstract

Divisi Marketing Communication (Markom) Indosat Surabaya menghadapi kendala operasional dalam pengelolaan Point of Sales Material (POSM) akibat proses pemesanan yang masih manual melalui WhatsApp, ketiadaan sistem monitoring, dan minimnya dokumentasi terpusat. Kondisi ini menyebabkan data permintaan mudah terlewat, status pengerjaan sulit dipantau, dan risiko kehilangan data yang dapat menghambat audit serta pengelolaan invoice. Proyek ini bertujuan mengintegrasikan fitur tambahan ke dalam sistem existing untuk meningkatkan efisiensi pengelolaan POSM tanpa mengubah interface yang sudah familiar bagi pengguna. Metode yang diterapkan adalah integrasi fitur pemesanan terstruktur, monitoring otomatis, dan pencatatan terpusat pada dashboard yang telah ada. Proyek dilaksanakan di kantor Indosat Surabaya selama periode Oktober 2025 hingga Januari 2026. Hasil yang diharapkan adalah peningkatan transparansi alur pemesanan, penghematan waktu operasional tim Markom, koordinasi yang lebih efisien dengan vendor, kepastian status pengiriman bagi cabang, serta tersedianya sistem pencatatan yang mendukung akuntabilitas dan audit. Proyek ini memberikan manfaat praktis bagi perusahaan sekaligus pengalaman aplikatif bagi mahasiswa dalam pengembangan sistem berbasis kebutuhan industri.

The Marketing Communication (Marcomm) Division of Indosat Surabaya faced operational challenges in managing Point of Sales Materials (POSM) due to a manual ordering process conducted through WhatsApp, the absence of a monitoring system, and limited centralized documentation. These issues caused purchase requests to be easily overlooked, made it difficult to track order progress, and increased the risk of data loss, which could hinder auditing processes and invoice management. This project aimed to integrate additional features into the existing system to improve the efficiency of POSM management without altering the user interface that was already familiar to users. The implemented approach involved integrating structured order submission, automated monitoring, and centralized record management into the existing dashboard. The project was carried out at the Indosat Surabaya office from October 2025 to January 2026. The expected outcomes included improved transparency in the POSM ordering workflow, reduced operational time for the Marketing Communication team, more efficient coordination with vendors, greater certainty regarding delivery status for branch offices, and the availability of a centralized record-keeping system that supports accountability and auditing. In addition to providing practical benefits for the company, the project also offered valuable hands-on experience for the student in developing information systems based on real-world industry requirements.
