Abstract

Dalam pelaksanaan sebuah proyek konstruksi diperlukan metode konstruksi yang tepat, guna mencapai keseuaian target yang di rencanakan. Pada umumnya metode yang paling sering digunakan dalam pelaksanaan proyek adalah metode Bottom-up. Metode Bottom – up ini juga bisa disebut metode konvensional. Metode ini diawali dengan pekerjaan pondasi dan juga galian tanah (dengan kedalaman yang direncanakan). Akan tetapi pada metode bottom – up ini jadwal pelaksanaan proyek menjadi lebih lama karena pekerjaan lainnya dapat dilaksanakan setelah pekerjaan galian selesai. Seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi di bidang konstruksi, terdapat metode alternatif yang dapat diterapkan pada pembangunan proyek gedung yaitu metode Top – down. Metode Top – down berbeda dengan metode Bottom – up karena pekerjaan metode ini dimulai dari pelat lantai satu (Ground level atau muka tanah). Keuntungan dari penggunaan metode ini adalah pekerjaan pada struktur bawah bisa dilakukan secara bersamaan dengan pekerjaan struktur atas sehingga menyebabkan waktu pelaksanaan menjadi lebih singkat. Pada pembahasan ini bertujuan menganalisa Tahapan pelaksanaan dan kebutuhan sumber daya yang diperlukan dalam konstruksi top – down. Proyek yang dijadikan objek penelitian adalah pembangunan Apartemen kyo society Surabaya. Untuk metode tersebut dilakukan studi Pustaka dan pengumpulan data.

In the implementation of a construction project, the right construction method is needed, in order to achieve the planned target suitability. In general, the method most often used in project implementation is the bottom-up method. This bottom-up method can also be called the conventional method. This method begins with foundation work and soil excavation (with the planned depth). However, in this bottom-up method, the project implementation schedule becomes longer because other work can be carried out after the excavation work is completed. Along with technological developments in the construction sector, there are alternative methods that can be applied to the construction of building projects, namely the Top-down method. The Top-down method is different from the Bottom-up method because the work of this method starts from the first floor slab (ground level). The advantage of using this method is that work on the lower structure can be carried out simultaneously with the work of the upper structure, resulting in shorter execution time. This discussion aims to analyze the stages of implementation and the resource requirements needed in top-down construction. The project that is used as the object of research is the construction of the kyo society apartment in Surabaya. For this method, literature study and data collection were carried out.
