Abstract

Magang industri merupakan kegiatan pembelajaran yang bertujuan memberikan pengalaman kerja nyata kepada mahasiswa sekaligus meningkatkan kompetensi di dunia industri. Kegiatan magang ini dilaksanakan di PT. PLN Nusantara Power Services pada unit Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) selama empat bulan, mulai 13 Januari hingga 9 Mei 2025. Tujuan magang adalah memahami penerapan Sistem Manajemen Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (SMK3), berpartisipasi dalam penyusunan dokumen keselamatan kerja, serta menganalisis tingkat penerapan SMK3 pada Proyek PLTU Tidore. Metode yang digunakan meliputi studi literatur, observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen berdasarkan Peraturan Pemerintah Nomor 50 Tahun 2012. Selama magang, kegiatan yang dilakukan meliputi penyusunan Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Safe Work Procedure (SWP), instruksi kerja, inspeksi alat pelindung diri (APD), serta audit 12 elemen SMK3. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa penerapan SMK3 pada Proyek PLTU Tidore memperoleh tingkat kesesuaian sebesar 85,54% (142 dari 166 kriteria) sehingga termasuk kategori memuaskan. Kegiatan magang ini memberikan pengalaman praktis serta meningkatkan pemahaman mengenai implementasi K3 di industri ketenagalistrikan.

Industrial internship is a learning program that provides students with practical work experience while improving their professional competencies. This internship was conducted at the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Division of PT. PLN Nusantara Power Services for four months, from January 13 to May 9, 2025. The objectives were to understand the implementation of the Occupational Safety and Health Management System (SMK3), participate in the preparation of occupational safety documents, and evaluate the implementation of SMK3 at the Tidore Steam Power Plant Project. The methods included literature review, field observation, interviews, and document analysis based on Government Regulation No. 50 of 2012. The internship activities involved preparing Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Safe Work Procedures (SWP), work instructions, personal protective equipment (PPE) inspections, and auditing the twelve elements of SMK3. The results showed that the implementation of SMK3 achieved 85.54% compliance (142 out of 166 criteria), which falls into the satisfactory category. This internship enhanced practical skills and provided a deeper understanding of occupational safety and health implementation in the power generation industry.
