Abstract
Building Information Modeling (BIM) merupakan salah satunya contoh perkembangan teknologi di bidang pembangunan infrastruktur. Building Information Modelling adalah teknologi di bidang AEC (Architecture, Engineering, dan Construction) yang merupakan suatu software desain dengan menciptakan model digital 3D dan didalamnya berisi semua informasi bangunan, yang berfungsi sebagai sarana untuk membuat perencanaan, perancangan, pelaksanaan pembangunan, serta pemeliharaan bangunan tersebut beserta infrastrukturnya bagi semua pihak yang terkait di dalam proyek seperti konsultan, owner dan kontraktor. Building Information Modeling dapat membantu dalam perencanaan penjadwalan, permodelan, perhitungan biaya dan volume suatu pekerjaan. Building Information Modeling membuat pekerjaan menjadi efektif, efisien dan dapat menghemat biaya dibandingkan metode konvensional. Tidak seperti metode konvensional, BIM dapat terintegerasi antar aplikasinya satu sama lain, sehingga dapat mempercepat proses pekerjaan yang akan menyingkat waktu dan juga membuat sumber daya manusia menjadi lebih sedikit. Penelitian ini membandingkan keefektifan perhitungan Waktu dan Biaya apabila menggunakan Metode Building Information Modeling dibandingkan dengan menggunakan Metode Konvensional. Sedangkan metode penjadwalan menggunakan Critical Path Method dan Precedence Diagramming Method. Hasil dari Proyek Akhir ini didapatkan adanya reduksi volume sebesar 0,96% dengan menggunakan metode Building Information Modeling, dalam segi biaya sebesar 0,93% serta durasi sebesar 0,19%. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa perhitungan Waktu dan Biaya konstruksi dengan menggunakan metode Building Information Modeling memiliki kelebihan dibandingkan dengan perhitungan menggunakan metode Konvensional.

Building Information Modeling (BIM) is one example of technological developments in the field of infrastructure development. Building Information Modeling is a technology in the field of AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) which is a design software by creating a 3D digital model and it contains all building information, which serves as a means for planning, designing, implementing development, and maintaining the building. along with the infrastructure for all parties involved in the project such as consultants, owners and contractors. Building Information Modeling can assist in planning, scheduling, modeling, calculating costs and the volume of a job. Building Information Modeling makes work effective, efficient and can save costs compared to conventional methods. Unlike conventional methods, BIM can be integrated between applications with each other, so it can speed up the work process which will save time and also make fewer human resources. This study compares the effectiveness of the calculation of time and cost when using the Building Information Modeling method compared to using the conventional method. While the scheduling method uses the Critical Path Method and Precedence Diagramming Method. The results of this final project obtained a volume reduction of 0.96% by using the Building Information Modeling method, in terms of cost of 0.93% and duration of 0.19%. So it can be concluded that the calculation of construction time and cost using the Building Information Modeling method has advantages compared to calculations using the conventional method.
