Abstract
Pupuk NPK Nitrat merupakan pupuk majemuk yang mengandung unsur hara nitrogen (N), fosfor (P), dan kalium (K) yang berperan penting dalam meningkatkan produktivitas tanaman. Laporan ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari proses produksi pupuk NPK Nitrat di PT Pupuk Kujang, mulai dari pengumpanan bahan baku, granulasi, pengeringan, pendinginan, pengayakan, pelapisan, pengemasan, hingga pengolahan debu dan pengendalian mutu. Proses produksi menerapkan teknologi steam granulation yang menghasilkan granul dengan ukuran dan sifat fisik sesuai standar mutu. Setiap tahapan operasi dikendalikan melalui pengaturan parameter proses seperti temperatur, kadar air, ukuran partikel, dan waktu tinggal untuk menjamin kualitas produk sesuai Standar Nasional Indonesia (SNI). Selain itu, penerapan sistem daur ulang material dan pengolahan limbah berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan efisiensi proses serta mengurangi dampak terhadap lingkungan. Hasil pengamatan menunjukkan bahwa integrasi operasi proses dan pengendalian mutu yang baik mampu menghasilkan pupuk NPK Nitrat dengan kualitas yang memenuhi spesifikasi serta mendukung keberlanjutan proses produksi.

NPK Nitrat fertilizer is a compound fertilizer containing nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), and potassium (K), which are essential nutrients for improving crop productivity. This internship report aims to study the production process of NPK Nitrat fertilizer at PT Pupuk Kujang, covering raw material feeding, granulation, drying, cooling, screening, coating, bagging, dust treatment, and quality control. The production process employs steam granulation technology to produce fertilizer granules with standardized physical characteristics. Each processing stage is carefully controlled through operating parameters, including temperature, moisture content, particle size, and residence time, to ensure compliance with the Indonesian National Standard (SNI). Furthermore, the implementation of material recycling and waste treatment systems enhances process efficiency while minimizing environmental impacts. The observations indicate that the integration of process operations and quality control effectively produces NPK Nitrat fertilizer that meets quality specifications and supports sustainable manufacturing practices.
