Abstract

Pelabuhan Patimban di Subang, Jawa Barat, merupakan proyek strategis nasional yang bertujuan mendukung efisiensi logistik dan pelayaran nasional. Salah satu pekerjaan utamanya adalah dredging pada basin area untuk mencapai kedalaman desain -14 mLWS agar dapat melayani kapal Post Panamax. Penelitian ini menganalisis kondisi batimetri dan karakteristik sedimen di basin area dengan mengoptimalkan desain dan strategi pengerukan agar lebih efisien dari segi volume, waktu, dan biaya. Analisis dilakukan menggunakan data batimetri, karakteristik sedimen, dan perbandingan efisiensi alat keruk seperti TSHD dan Grab Dredger. Hasil menunjukkan volume pengerukan yang dibutuhkan sekitar 263.380 m³ dengan material dominan pasir dan lempung pasiran. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa optimasi desain dan pekerjaan dredging di Pelabuhan Patimban mampu meningkatkan efisiensi operasional, menekan biaya, dan mendukung prinsip dredging berkelanjutan.

The Patimban Port in Subang, West Java, is a national strategic project aimed at supporting the efficiency of national logistics and shipping. One of its main works is dredging in the basin area to reach the design depth of -14 mLWS, allowing the port to accommodate Post Panamax vessels. This study analyzes the bathymetric conditions and sediment characteristics in the basin area by optimizing the dredging design and strategy to improve efficiency in terms of volume, time, and cost. The analysis was carried out using bathymetric data, sediment characteristics, and a comparison of dredging equipment efficiency such as the TSHD and Grab Dredger. The results show that the required dredging volume is approximately 263.380 m³, with the dominant material being sand and sandy clay. The study concludes that optimizing the design and dredging operations at Patimban Port can enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and support sustainable dredging practices.
