Abstract
Magang industri merupakan salah satu bentuk implementasi program link and match antara perguruan tinggi dengan dunia industri yang bertujuan meningkatkan kompetensi mahasiswa melalui pengalaman kerja secara langsung. Kegiatan magang ini dilaksanakan di PT Intidaya Dinamika Sejati pada Divisi Fabrikasi dengan fokus pada proses produksi dan inspeksi Medical Tangki Vacuum 600 L. Selama pelaksanaan magang, mahasiswa terlibat dalam berbagai tahapan produksi, mulai dari persiapan material, pengerolan plat, fit-up, proses pengelasan menggunakan metode FCAW dan GTAW, inspeksi visual hasil pengelasan, hingga pengujian hydrotest untuk memastikan tidak adanya kebocoran pada tangki. Selain itu, mahasiswa juga mempelajari penerapan standar mutu, prosedur inspeksi, serta peran Welding Inspector dalam menjamin kualitas produk sesuai spesifikasi perusahaan. Berdasarkan hasil pelaksanaan magang, proses produksi medical tangki di PT Intidaya Dinamika Sejati telah menerapkan alur kerja yang sistematis dengan pengendalian mutu pada setiap tahapan proses. Pengujian hydrotest terbukti menjadi salah satu metode penting dalam memverifikasi kekuatan dan kekedapan tangki sebelum produk dikirim kepada pelanggan. Melalui kegiatan magang ini, mahasiswa memperoleh peningkatan kompetensi teknis di bidang fabrikasi, pengelasan, inspeksi, dan pengujian, serta mengembangkan kemampuan profesional seperti komunikasi, kerja sama tim, disiplin, dan penyelesaian masalah di lingkungan industri

Industrial internship is one of the implementations of the link and match program between higher education institutions and industry, aiming to enhance students' competencies through direct industrial experience. This internship was conducted at PT Intidaya Dinamika Sejati in the Fabrication Division, focusing on the production and inspection process of a 600 L Medical Vacuum Tank. During the internship, the student participated in various production stages, including material preparation, plate rolling, fit-up, welding processes using FCAW and GTAW methods, visual weld inspection, and hydrostatic testing (hydrotest) to ensure the tank was free from leakage. In addition, the student learned about quality assurance procedures, inspection standards, and the responsibilities of a Welding Inspector in ensuring product quality according to company specifications. The internship results indicate that the production process of the medical vacuum tank has been carried out systematically with quality control implemented at every stage of production. The hydrotest plays a crucial role in verifying the strength and leak-tightness of the tank before delivery to customers. Through this internship, the student improved technical competencies in fabrication, welding, inspection, and testing while also developing professional skills such as communication, teamwork, discipline, and problem-solving in an industrial environment.
