Abstract

Kelancaran produksi di Pabrik Gula (PG) Rejo Agung Baru sangat bergantung pada keandalan mesin Cane Cutter I di stasiun gilingan. Laporan ini bertujuan merencanakan manajemen perawatan pada mesin tersebut menggunakan metode Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM). Identifikasi komponen kritis dilakukan melalui Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), dilanjutkan dengan pengolahan data Time to Failure (TTF) menggunakan distribusi Weibull untuk menentukan tingkat keandalan (reliability), Mean Time to Failure (MTTF), dan efisiensi biaya. Hasil FMEA menunjukkan komponen paling kritis adalah Baut (RPN 168) dan Pisau (RPN 144). Tanpa pemeliharaan preventif, keandalan mesin turun tajam menjadi 0,000337 pada 800 jam operasi (MTTF 520,58 jam). Penerapan preventive maintenance pada interval optimal 400 jam terbukti mampu meningkatkan tingkat keandalan menjadi 0,7622 (di atas standar industri 70%). Langkah ini juga menghemat biaya perawatan hingga 73% dibandingkan corrective maintenance. Rekomendasi akhir dirumuskan dalam RCM Information Worksheet sebagai pedoman pemeliharaan mesin perusahaan di masa mendatang.

The smooth production process at PG Rejo Agung Baru heavily relies on the reliability of the Cane Cutter I machine at the milling station. This report aims to plan the maintenance management for this machine using the Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) method. The identification of critical components was conducted through Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), followed by the processing of Time to Failure (TTF) data using the Weibull distribution to determine the reliability level, Mean Time to Failure (MTTF), and cost efficiency. The FMEA results indicate that the most critical components are the Bolts (RPN 168) and Knives (RPN 144). Without preventive maintenance, the machine's reliability drops sharply to 0.000337 at 800 hours of operation (MTTF 520.58 hours). The implementation of preventive maintenance at an optimal interval of 400 hours is proven to increase the reliability level to 0.7622 (above the industry standard of 70%). This measure also saves maintenance costs by up to 73% compared to corrective maintenance. The final recommendations are formulated in the RCM Information Worksheet to serve as a guideline for the company's future machine maintenance.
