Abstract
Guide vane merupakan komponen kritis pada sistem turbin Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Air (PLTA) yang berfungsi mengatur arah dan jumlah aliran air menuju runner turbin, sehingga sangat memengaruhi efisiensi pembangkitan dan kestabilan operasi. Laporan magang industri ini disusun berdasarkan kegiatan yang dilaksanakan di PLTA Sengguruh, PT PLN Nusantara Power, dengan fokus pada analisis prosedur maintenance guide vane sebagai komponen pengatur aliran. Kegiatan pemeliharaan yang diamati meliputi preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, dan outage maintenance, dengan metode pemeriksaan berupa pengecekan visual dan pengecekan fisik yang dilakukan secara terjadwal oleh tim mekanik. Pemeriksaan visual bertujuan memastikan posisi sudu guide vane sesuai prosedur operasional dan bebas dari hambatan, sedangkan pemeriksaan fisik mencakup pengecekan kelayakan komponen, kebocoran pada link arm, serta pembersihan fisik guide vane. Selain kegiatan utama, penulis juga mendapat tugas tambahan berupa perhitungan headloss mayor dan minor pada sistem perpipaan menuju oil cooler untuk memastikan efektivitas sistem pendinginan. Hasil kegiatan magang menunjukkan bahwa prosedur maintenance guide vane di PLTA Sengguruh telah terstruktur dengan baik, didukung checklist dan dokumentasi yang rinci, serta penerapan protokol keselamatan kerja (APD, LOTO) yang ketat. Pemeliharaan yang dilakukan secara berkala dan tepat terbukti mampu mempertahankan efisiensi turbin dan mengurangi risiko downtime tidak terencana.

The guide vane is a critical component in a hydropower plant's turbine system, functioning to regulate the direction and volume of water flow toward the turbine runner, which directly affects generation efficiency and operational stability. This industrial internship report is based on activities carried out at PLTA Sengguruh, PT PLN Nusantara Power, focusing on the analysis of guide vane maintenance procedures as a flow-regulating component. The maintenance activities observed include preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and outage maintenance, using visual and physical inspection methods carried out on a scheduled basis by the mechanical team. Visual inspection aims to confirm that the guide vane blades' position complies with operational procedures and is free of obstructions, while physical inspection covers component feasibility checks, leakage detection on the link arm, and physical cleaning of the guide vane. In addition to the main activities, the author was also assigned an additional task of calculating major and minor head losses in the piping system leading to the oil cooler to ensure the cooling system's effectiveness. The results show that the guide vane maintenance procedure at PLTA Sengguruh is well structured, supported by detailed checklists and documentation, along with strict occupational safety protocols (PPE, Lock Out Tag Out). Regular and proper maintenance has proven effective in maintaining turbine efficiency and reducing the risk of unplanned downtime.
