Abstract

Perkembangan kendaraan hybrid mendorong inovasi konversi pada mobil konvensional seperti Isuzu Panther, yang menuntut penyesuaian sasis untuk mengakomodasi sistem motor listrik dan gearbox. Proyek magang yang dilaksanakan di CV Christina Jaya Motor ini bertujuan untuk melakukan rancang bangun seat (kursi) kabin yang terintegrasi secara langsung dengan mounting komponen penggerak tersebut. Struktur ini diwajibkan memiliki kepresisian dan kekakuan yang tinggi guna menopang beban statis penumpang sekaligus meredam getaran dinamis dari motor listrik. Metodologi yang diterapkan meliputi tahapan engineering design berbasis Computer Aided Drawing (CAD) dengan SolidWorks 2021 dan eksekusi manufaktur mekanik. Pemilihan material difokuskan pada pelat baja siku dengan ketebalan 4 mm karena pertimbangan tingkat kekakuan struktur dan daya las (weldability) yang sangat baik. Rangkaian proses fabrikasi mencakup pemotongan material (cutting), proses frais (milling) untuk pembuatan lubang slot baut yang presisi, serta penyambungan komponen (joining) menggunakan metode las SMAW dengan elektroda E6013 (RB-26). Pada aspek ergonomi, dudukan seat dilapisi busa Polyurethane (PU) yang ringan untuk mendistribusikan beban secara merata. Hasil akhir dari rancang bangun ini adalah struktur seat berkonfigurasi double bracket yang terintegrasi dengan mounting motor dan transmisi. Sistem ini berhasil dirakit (assembly) secara presisi (bolt-on) pada bagian lantai (floor) kabin tanpa memerlukan modifikasi sasis utama yang ekstrem. Konstruksi tersebut mampu menjaga kesejajaran (alignment) poros penggerak secara stabil serta diestimasi aman dalam menopang beban statis maksimal hingga 320 kg. Keseluruhan desain dan fabrikasi ini berhasil menciptakan integrasi sistem hybrid yang andal dan fungsional.

The development of hybrid vehicles drives conversion innovations in conventional cars such as the Isuzu Panther, which requires chassis modifications to accommodate an electric motor and gearbox system. This internship project, conducted at CV Christina Jaya Motor, aims to design and manufacture a cabin seat directly integrated with the mounting of these drive components. This structure must possess high precision and rigidity to support the static load of the passengers while dampening the dynamic vibrations generated by the electric motor. The methodology applied encompasses engineering design stages based on Computer-Aided Design (CAD) using SolidWorks 2021 and mechanical manufacturing execution. Material selection focused on a 4 mm thick steel angle plate due to considerations of structural rigidity and excellent weldability. The fabrication process sequence includes material cutting, a milling process to create precise bolt slots, and component joining using the Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) method with E6013 (RB-26) electrodes. For the ergonomic aspect, the seat base is covered with lightweight Polyurethane (PU) foam to distribute the load evenly. The final result of this design and fabrication is a seat structure with a double bracket configuration integrated with the motor and transmission mounting. This system was successfully assembled precisely (bolt-on) onto the cabin floor without requiring extreme modifications to the main chassis. The construction is capable of maintaining stable drive shaft alignment and is estimated to safely support a maximum static load of up to 320 kg. The overall design and fabrication successfully created a reliable and functional hybrid system integration.
