Abstract

Hampir sebagian besar industri-industri yang bergerak dibidang penyimnpanan dan pengmman makanan memerlukan proses
pendiginan. Container refrigeration merupakan sebuah kontainer yang dilengkapi dengan sistem pendinginan untuk mendinginkan ruang penyimpanan bahan makanan didalarnnya, agar dapat menghambat pertumbuhan bakteri enzim yang dapat merusak kualitas makanan. Container refrigerator saat beroperasi mengalami beban pendinginan yang dihasilkan dari beban konduksi, beban infiltrasi, beban produk, dan beban internal. Sehingga diperlukan perhitungan khusus untuk mengetahui besarya beban pendinginan yang dihasilkan. Dari data yang direncanakan untuk merancang gudang antara lain jenis refrigeran yang dipakai adalah Rl34a, sistem refrigerasinya menggunakan sistem satu kompresor dan satu evaporator dengan kapasitas penyimpanan maksinlal produk (ikan) adalah 12 ton. Maka dengan bantuan tabel dan diagram p-h, besaran penting dalam siklus kompresi uap dapat diketahui. Seperti keija kompresor, laju pengeluaran kalor, efek refrigerasi, dan COP. Hasil perhitungan menunjukan bahwa beban pendinginan total yang timbul adalah sebesar 39,227361& kW

The most of the industries in food storage and delivery need cooling process. Container refrigeration is a container which is embedded with cooling system to cool food storage room in in it. to slow the growth of bacterial enzyme which is able to decrease food quality. When operates, container refrigerator experience cooling load because production, infiltration, product, and internal load. Therefore there is need of specific calculation to count the rate of cooling load produced by machine. From planted data to planning cold storage with R134a refrigerant, in which the refrigeration system use one compressor and one evaporator system with 12 tons of storage maximum capacity. With the help of table and diagram p-h, important units in steam compression cycle is identified. They are compressor performance, heat system, refrigeration effects, and COP. The calculation result shows that total cooling load generated is 39,2273618 kW.
