Abstract

Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) merupakan peralatan kontrol elektronik yang tercipta dari hasil perpaduan antara teknologi komputer solid state dengan tradisional sequence controller. PLC beroperasi dengan menerima dan menguji sinyal input diskrit (ON/OFF) atau analog (sensor). Dalam sistem PLC ini terdapat empat komponen bagian utama, yaitu Central Processing Unit (CPU), programmer, input modul dan output modul. Mesin Bag Placer yang ada di PT. Semen Gresik (PERSERO) TBK, Tuban merupakan mesin atau alat yang digunakan untuk memindahkan kantong semen kosong ke Roto Packer. Dalam penulisan tugas akhir ini adalah merancang ulang sistem kontrol mesin Bag Placer dengan menggunakan PLC.

Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) represent an equipments control the electronic created from solidarity result between a technology of computer of solid state and traditional sequence controller. PLC operates by accepting and testing input signal discrete (ON/OFF) or analogue (sensor). In system PLC there are four bodywork components, That is Central Processing Unit (CPU), programer, input module and output module. Bag Placer machine which exist at PT. Semen Gresik (PERSERO), TBK, Tuban represent the machine or appliance used to remove the empty bag to Roto Packer. In this final project writing is redesign control systems of Bag Placer with using PLC.
