Abstract
Studi ini menggunakan Analisis Tekanan Transien (Pressure Transient Analysis) pada sumur gas di Formasi Mangahewa untuk mengevaluasi perilaku reservoir, memilih model reservoir terbaik, dan mengestimasi parameter reservoir yang penting. Interpretasi diagnostik dari plot turunan tekanan (pressure-derivative plot) menunjukkan tiga rezim aliran yang berbeda: interval waktu awal yang dipengaruhi oleh penyimpanan lubang bor tingkat sedang (0,160681 bbl/psi), periode aliran radial waktu menengah yang jelas dan sesuai untuk identifikasi model, serta rezim waktu akhir yang mencerminkan perilaku batas yang konsisten dengan reservoir berperilaku tak-terbatas (infinitely acting reservoir). Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa reservoir tersebut berperilaku sebagai sistem gas homogen dengan permeabilitas rendah dan respons batas tak-terbatas. Estimasi permeabilitas adalah 0,344895 md, dan faktor (skin) positif sebesar 5 mengindikasikan adanya kerusakan signifikan di dekat lubang sumur (near-wellbore damage), yang menjadi faktor utama penyebab penurunan produktivitas sumur. Secara keseluruhan, hasil PTA memberikan landasan yang kuat untuk memilih model perilaku reservoir, memahami respons tekanan, dan menentukan nilai parameter reservoir terbaik guna evaluasi kinerja serta perencanaan lapangan di masa mendatang.

This study uses Pressure Transient Analysis (PTA) on a gas well in the Mangahewa Formation to assess reservoir behaviour, select the best reservoir model, and estimate essential reservoir parameters. The diagnostic interpretation of the pressure-derivative plot reveals three distinct flow regimes: an early-time interval influenced by moderate wellbore storage (0.160681 bbl/psi), a clear mid-time radial flow period suitable for model identification, and a late-time regime reflecting boundary behaviour consistent with an infinitely acting reservoir. The research shows that the reservoir acts as a homogenous, low-permeability gas system with an infinite boundary response. The estimated permeability is 0.344895 md, and a positive skin factor of 5 indicates considerable near-wellbore damage, which is a major contributor to decreased well productivity. Overall, the PTA results provide a solid foundation for selecting a reservoir behaviour model, understanding pressure responses, and determining the best reservoir parameter values for future performance evaluation and field planning.
