Abstract
Keandalan sistem tenaga listrik industri sangat dipengaruhi oleh kemampuan sistem proteksi dalam merespons gangguan secara cepat, selektif, dan terkoordinasi. Inverse Time Overcurrent Relay berperan penting dalam menjaga selektivitas proteksi melalui penentuan Time Dial Setting (TDS). Penambahan sumber daya PLN dapat mengubah kontribusi arus hubung singkat yang terbaca oleh rele, baik ketika bekerja sebagai proteksi primer maupun backup, sehingga setting rele sebelumnya berpotensi mengalami miskoordinasi. Penentuan TDS secara tradisional memiliki keterbatasan karena memerlukan proses perhitungan dan penyesuaian kurva secara berulang. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini menerapkan Adaptive Modified Firefly Algorithm (AMFA) untuk menentukan nilai TDS minimum pada Inverse Time Overcurrent Relay setelah penambahan sumber daya PLN pada sistem tenaga industri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa AMFA mampu menghasilkan nilai TDS dan waktu operasi yang sesuai dengan perhitungan manual, dengan perbedaan yang sangat kecil akibat pembulatan angka desimal. Koordinasi pasangan rele primer dan backup memenuhi Coordination Time Interval sebesar 0,2 detik, sedangkan rele yang berada pada satu feeder dan dirancang bekerja secara bersamaan memiliki nilai CTI sebesar 0 detik. Dengan demikian, AMFA dapat digunakan untuk membantu proses penentuan setting rele secara lebih efisien sekaligus tetap memenuhi persyaratan koordinasi proteksi.

The reliability of industrial power systems is strongly influenced by the ability of protection systems to respond to faults quickly, selectively, and in a coordinated manner. Inverse Time Overcurrent Relays play an important role in maintaining protection selectivity through the determination of the Time Dial Setting (TDS). The integration of a PLN power supply can alter the short-circuit current contribution detected by relays operating as either primary or backup protection, potentially causing the existing relay settings to become uncoordinated. Conventional TDS determination has limitations because it requires repeated calculations and curve adjustments. Therefore, this study applies the Adaptive Modified Firefly Algorithm (AMFA) to determine the minimum TDS values of Inverse Time Overcurrent Relays following the integration of a PLN power supply into an industrial power system. The results show that AMFA produces TDS values and relay operating times that are consistent with manual calculations, with only minor differences caused by decimal rounding. The coordination between primary and backup relay pairs satisfies a Coordination Time Interval of 0.2 seconds, while relays located on the same feeder and designed to operate simultaneously have a CTI of 0 seconds. Therefore, AMFA can be used to determine relay settings more efficiently while satisfying the protection coordination requirements.
