Abstract
Dalam era globalisasi dan semakin berkembangnya teknologi informasi dewasa ini, mobilitas seseorang akan semakin tinggi seiring dengan meningkatnya aktivitas di luar ruangan. Hal tersebut menjadi suatu permasalahan bagi seseorang yang ingin mengetahui dan memantau kondisi ruangannya serta menginginkan keamanan ruangan tempat tinggal atau tempat kerjanya terjamin. Sistem monitoring ruangan yang telah dibuat ini merupakan suatu sistem yang terdiri dari webcam, mikrokontroler, software Monitoring Ruangan dan webserver. Sistem ini dapat membantu seseorang yang ingin mengetahui dan memantau kondisi ruangannya tanpa harus berada di ruangan tersebut. Selain itu alat dari sistem ini dapat dikendalikan arah pergerakannya dengan menekan tombol yang tersedia, dengan begitu maka kita dapat mengarahkan webcam untuk memantau kondisi suatu ruangan yang kita inginkan. Hasil dari sistem monitoring ruangan ini yaitu akan menampilkan gambar bergerak/video dari ruangan yang sedang dimonitoring ke komputer pengguna dan jika motion detector mendeteksi adanya objek yang bergerak, maka webcam yang sedang memonitoring akan langsung merekam objek tersebut.

The mentioned become an problems for somebody which wish to know and watch the its room condition and also wish the security of residence room or its workplace is well guaranteed System of room monitoring which have been made by this represent an system consisted of by the webcam, microcontroller, software of Room Monitoring and webserver. This system can assist the somebody which wish to know and watch the its room condition without having to reside in the room. Others appliance from this system is manageable control the movement it by button available, that way hence we can control the webcam to watch the condition of an room which we wish. Result from this room monitoring system that is will present the picture make a move/video from room which monitoring is to client computer and if motion detector detect the existence of peripatetic object, hence webcam which is monitoring will be direct is the object record.
