Abstract

Laporan magang ini membahas analisis penyebab dan akibat timbulnya debu pada sistem konveyor di PT Aneka Jasa Grhadika, Gresik. Debu yang dihasilkan dari proses perpindahan material berpotensi menurunkan efisiensi operasional, mempercepat keausan komponen, serta menimbulkan risiko keselamatan kerja. Metode yang digunakan meliputi observasi lapangan, pengumpulan data teknis, serta penerapan analisis FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis), Fishbone Diagram, dan Pareto Diagram untuk mengidentifikasi faktor dominan penyebab masalah. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kebocoran material pada area skirtboard, kondisi dust collector yang tidak optimal, serta kurangnya sistem pengendalian debu menjadi faktor utama. Rekomendasi perbaikan yang diajukan antara lain mengaktifkan kembali dust collector, menambahkan sistem spray foam, serta penerapan sistem hood and spoon. Dengan penerapan strategi preventive maintenance yang tepat, diharapkan sistem konveyor dapat beroperasi lebih andal, mengurangi risiko gangguan, dan meningkatkan keselamatan kerja.

This internship report presents an analysis of the causes and impacts of dust formation in the conveyor system at PT Aneka Jasa Grhadika, Gresik. Dust generated during bulk material transfer reduces operational efficiency, accelerates component wear, and poses occupational safety risks. The methodology includes field observation, technical data collection, and the application of FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis), Fishbone Diagram, and Pareto Diagram to identify the dominant factors. The findings indicate that material leakage at the skirtboard area, non-optimal dust collector performance, and insufficient dust control systems are the main contributors. Recommended improvements consist of reactivating the dust collector, implementing spray foam systems, and applying hood and spoon mechanisms. Proper preventive maintenance strategies are expected to enhance conveyor reliability, minimize operational disturbances, and improve workplace safety.
