Abstract

Pabrik sirup glukosa dirancang untuk mengolah bahan baku singkong menjadi produk sirup glukosa melalui tiga tahapan utama proses, yaitu tahap pre-treatment, tahap hidrolisis pati, dan tahap pemurnian produk. Tahap pre treatment bertujuan menyiapkan bahan baku melalui proses penghancuran dan pencucian untuk memperoleh pati yang sesuai sebagai umpan proses. Selanjutnya, pati dihidrolisis secara enzimatis menggunakan enzim α-amilase dan glukoamilase untuk menghasilkan larutan glukosa. Produk hasil hidrolisis kemudian dimurnikan melalui proses pemisahan dan pengolahan lanjutan sehingga diperoleh sirup glukosa dengan kualitas yang memenuhi spesifikasi. Pabrik dirancang beroperasi secara kontinyu selama 24 jam per hari dan 330 hari per tahun dengan kapasitas produksi sebesar 160.000 ton/tahun. Berdasarkan hasil analisis ekonomi, diperoleh nilai CAPEX sebesar Rp. 1.292.296.525.128 dan OPEX sebesar Rp. 1.029.779.898.416 per tahun, dengan hasil penjualan mencapai Rp. 1.709.998.290.000 per tahun. Evaluasi kelayakan finansial menunjukkan nilai IRR sebesar 17,64%, NPV sebesar Rp. 1.068.461.303.153, Pay Out Time (POT) selama 4,43 tahun, serta Break Even Point (BEP) sebesar 24,02%. Nilai-nilai tersebut menunjukkan bahwa proyek memiliki tingkat pengembalian yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan biaya modal dan mampu mencapai titik impas pada kapasitas produksi yang relatif rendah. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa perancangan dan pembangunan Pabrik Sirup Glukosa ini layak secara teknis dan ekonomis untuk direalisasikan.

The glucose syrup plant is designed to process cassava into glucose syrup through three main processing stages, namely pre-treatment, starch hydrolysis, and product purification. The pre-treatment stage prepares the raw material through size reduction and washing processes to obtain starch suitable for further processing. Subsequently, the starch is enzymatically hydrolyzed using α-amylase and glucoamylase to produce a glucose solution. The hydrolyzed product is then purified through separation and further processing to obtain glucose syrup that meets the required quality specifications. The plant is designed to operate continuously for 24 hours per day and 330 days per year with a production capacity of 160.000 tons per year. Based on the economic analysis, the required CAPEX is Rp. 1.292.296.525.128 and the annual OPEX is Rp. 1.029.779.898.416, while the annual sales revenue reaches Rp. 1.709.998.290.000. The financial feasibility evaluation results in an Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 17,64%, a Net Present Value (NPV) of Rp. 1.068.461.303.153, a Pay Out Time (POT) of 4,43 years, and a Break Even Point (BEP) of 24,02%. These indicators demonstrate that the project provides returns exceeding the cost of capital and achieves the break-even condition at a relatively low production capacity. Therefore, the design and development of the glucose syrup plant are considered technically and economically feasible.
