Abstract

The "ADC" field, located in Bogor, has significant andesite rock resource potential, supported by the presence of the Bojongmanik Formation (Tmb), Young Volcanic Rock Formation (Qv), and Mount Sudamanik Andesite Formation (Qvas). With the increasing demand for infrastructure development, more detailed information regarding the subsurface distribution and estimated volume of andesite is required. This study aims to identify the distribution of andesite, characterize its weathering conditions, and estimate its volume through three-dimensional (3D) modeling. The research employed the electrical resistivity method using the Wenner–Schlumberger array. A total of 12 parallel survey lines, each 470 m in length with a 10 m electrode spacing, were conducted over an area of approximately 100 ha. The resistivity data were processed using Res2DInv software to generate 2D resistivity sections, followed by 3D geological modeling using Leapfrog. The interpretation was validated using borehole data from four drilling locations distributed across the study area. The resistivity inversion results showed values ranging from 1.22 to >51.0 Ωm, with *Root Mean Square* (RMS) errors between 10% and 20%. Based on borehole validation, the subsurface lithology was classified into four units: soil (overburden) or siltstone (<19.0 Ωm), sandstone (19.0–37.0 Ωm), highly to completely weathered andesite (37.0–51.0 Ωm), and moderately to slightly weathered andesite (>51.0 Ωm). The 2D resistivity sections indicate that the study area is predominantly composed of highly to completely weathered andesite and moderately to slightly weathered andesite. These interpretations are consistent with borehole data, which confirm that the andesite exhibits weathering grades ranging from slight to complete across all drilling locations. The 3D resistivity model estimates a hypothetical volume of approximately 4,825,000 m³ for highly to completely weathered andesite and 149,780,000 m³ for moderately to slightly weathered andesite. According to SNI 4726:2019, these estimated resources are classified as *Inferred Mineral Resources*.
