Abstract
PT XYZ bertindak sebagai pemilik proyek sistem distribusi pipa bahan bakar minyak (BBM), yang dikelola melalui PT ABC sebagai pemilik pipa bahan bakar minyak untuk rute Cikampek - Plumpang. Salah satu fasilitas pendukung dalam proyek ini adalah jaringan pipa. Dalam proses perencanaan rute pipa, desain konstruksi mengharuskan pipa melintasi Sungai Kali Malang di Kecamatan Wangunharjo, Kabupaten Bekasi, dengan panjang 200 meter. Bahan pipa yang digunakan adalah 3LPE (Three Layer Polyethylene) dengan diameter luar 406,4 mm atau 16 inci. Untuk mengatasi kondisi tersebut, metode Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) telah dipilih sebagai solusi untuk pelaksanaan proyek. Berdasarkan hasil dan pembahasan, ditentukanlah gambar matematis dengan membuat free body diagram dalam menentukan beban tarik yang terjadi selama proses penarikan. Nilai pulling load total sebesar 41.109,4 lb dibandingkan dengan maximum allowable pulling force dari kemampuan material sebesar 437.139,2 lb serta kapasitas mesin yang memiliki nilai 494.579,675 lb. Nilai individual stress, combined stress, dan operating stress masih di bawah allowable. Pada nilai equivalent stress teoritis sebesar 15.412 Psi untuk software sebesar 14.259 Psi dan 12.980 Psi. Kedua nilai tersebut masih di bawah nilai yang diijinkan.

PT XYZ is the owner of the fuel (BBM) pipeline distribution system project, which is managed by PT ABC as the owner of the Cikampek–Plumpang fuel pipeline route. One of the supporting facilities for this project is a pipeline network. In the pipeline route planning process, the construction project envisages that the pipeline will cross the Kali Malang River in the Wangunharjo district, Bekasi region, for a length of 200 meters. The pipeline material is a 3LPE (three-layer polyethylene) with an outer diameter of 406.4 mm or 16 inches. To address this situation, the horizontal directional drilling (HDD) method has been selected as the project implementation solution. Based on the results and discussion, a mathematical drawing is determined by making a free body diagram to determining the pulling load that occur during the drawing process. The total pulling load value is 41.109,4 lb compared to the maximum allowable pulling force of the material capability of 437.139,2 lb and the machine capacity which has a value of 494.579,675 lb. The value of individual stress, combined stress, and operating stress is still below the allowable value. The theory equivalent stress value is 15.442 Psi and the software is 14.259 Psi and 12.980 Psi. Both values are still below the allowable values.
