Abstract
Era globalisasi dan digitalisasi mendorong organisasi untuk memastikan ketanggapan dan keberlanjutan proses bisnisnya. Dalam konteks tersebut, process mining muncul sebagai pendekatan analitik berbasis data yang menghubungkan Business Process Management dan Data Science untuk memahami bagaimana proses bisnis dijalankan secara nyata (as-is). Meskipun manfaat process mining telah banyak diakui, banyak organisasi belum siap mengimplementasikannya secara optimal, yang terlihat dari kesenjangan antara niat dan tindakan (intention-action gap). Dalam kondisi tersebut, pelaku proses bisnis berperan penting karena menjembatani teknologi dengan realitas organisasi. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis kesiapan pelaku proses bisnis dalam implementasi process mining, memahami persepsi mereka terhadap nilai dari berbagai jenis process mining, serta mengidentifikasi hambatan implementasinya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan wawancara semi-terstruktur terhadap 14 pelaku proses bisnis dari 6 organisasi BUMN dan anak perusahaannya, serta didukung oleh kuesioner sebagai data pendukung deskriptif. Responden dipilih secara purposive sampling berdasarkan keterlibatan dalam pengelolaan proses, data, atau sistem informasi yang menghasilkan event log. Data dianalisis menggunakan content analysis melalui open coding dan axial coding dengan pendekatan Gioia, lalu dipetakan ke elemen-elemen Process Mining Maturity Model (P3M). Keabsahan data diperkuat melalui triangulasi sumber data, member checking, dan audit trail. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesiapan implementasi process mining membentuk spektrum kesiapan, yaitu kondisi pra-kesiapan, kesiapan awal, kesiapan berkembang, dan kesiapan operasional terbatas. Nilai process mining yang paling dipahami terdapat pada aspek process enhancement, lalu diikuti process discovery dan conformance checking. Hambatan implementasi meliputi fragmentasi data, integrasi sistem yang belum utuh, kualitas data yang belum konsisten, proses manual, kapabilitas analitik yang belum merata, serta tata kelola proses yang belum kuat. Penelitian ini juga memperluas P3M dengan menunjukkan adanya kondisi pra-kesiapan (pre-readiness), yaitu fase ketika organisasi mulai menyadari potensi process mining, tetapi belum memiliki kesiapan yang cukup untuk masuk ke tahap awal implementasi.

Globalization and digitalization have pushed organizations to ensure the responsiveness and sustainability of their business processes. In this context, process mining has emerged as a data-driven analytical approach that connects Business Process Management and Data Science to understand how business processes are actually performed (as-is). Although the benefits of process mining have been widely recognized, many organizations are not yet ready to implement it optimally, as reflected in the gap between intention and action (intention–action gap). In such conditions, business process actors play an important role because they bridge technology and organizational reality. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the readiness of business process actors for process mining implementation, understand their perceptions of the value of different types of process mining, and identify the barriers to its implementation. This study employs a qualitative approach using semi-structured interviews with 14 business process actors from 6 Indonesian state-owned enterprises and their subsidiaries, supported by a questionnaire as descriptive supporting data. Respondents were selected through purposive sampling based on their involvement in process management, data management, or the use of information systems that generate event logs. The data were analyzed using content analysis through open coding and axial coding based on the Gioia approach, and then mapped to the elements of the Process Mining Maturity Model (P3M). Data validity was strengthened through source triangulation, member checking, and audit trail. The findings show that process mining implementation readiness forms a readiness spectrum, consisting of pre-readiness, initial readiness, developing readiness, and limited operational readiness. The value of process mining that is most widely understood lies in process enhancement, followed by process discovery and conformance checking. The barriers to implementation include fragmented data, incomplete system integration, inconsistent data quality, manual processes, uneven analytical capabilities, and weak process governance. This study also extends P3M by identifying a pre-readiness condition, namely a phase in which organizations begin to recognize the potential of process mining but do not yet have sufficient readiness to enter the initial stage of implementation.
