Abstract
Era transformasi digital mendorong pemanfaatan teknologi cerdas dalam sektor pertanian, termasuk dalam membantu petani mengenali gejala penyakit tanaman dan memilih produk pengendali yang sesuai. Di Toko Pertanian Surya Tani, Pamekasan, proses konsultasi masih banyak dilakukan secara tatap muka sehingga informasi belum dapat diakses secara fleksibel oleh petani. Tugas akhir ini membangun aplikasi chatbot konsultasi penyakit tanaman hortikultura menggunakan pendekatan Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG). Pengembangan sistem dilakukan dengan metode Rapid Application Development (RAD). Chatbot dirancang untuk memahami pertanyaan pengguna dalam bahasa Indonesia sehari-hari serta beberapa istilah lokal bahasa Madura yang umum digunakan oleh petani di Pamekasan. Sistem memanfaatkan basis pengetahuan dari dokumen pertanian dan produk Toko Pertanian Surya Tani untuk menghasilkan diagnosis indikatif, rekomendasi pengendalian, serta rekomendasi produk pertanian yang relevan. Hasil evaluasi kualitas jawaban menggunakan ROUGE terhadap delapan pertanyaan menunjukkan nilai rata-rata ROUGE-1 precision sebesar 65,42%, recall sebesar 76,30%, dan F1-score sebesar 67,99%; ROUGE-2 precision sebesar 50,60%, recall sebesar 58,88%, dan F1-score sebesar 52,57%; serta ROUGE-L precision sebesar 64,13%, recall sebesar 74,77%, dan F1-score sebesar 66,72%. Selain itu, hasil usability testing menggunakan Chatbot Usability Questionnaire (CUQ) kualitatif terhadap dua responden menunjukkan bahwa chatbot dinilai mudah digunakan, informatif, dan membantu pengguna memperoleh informasi awal mengenai penyakit tanaman serta rekomendasi produk pertanian.

The era of digital transformation encourages the use of intelligent technology in the agricultural sector, including helping farmers identify plant disease symptoms and select appropriate control products. At Surya Tani Agricultural Store in Pamekasan, the consultation process is still mostly conducted face-to-face, making information less flexible for farmers to access. This final project develops a chatbot application for horticultural plant disease consultation using the Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) approach. The system was developed using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method. The chatbot is designed to understand user questions in everyday Indonesian as well as several local Madurese terms commonly used by farmers in Pamekasan. The system utilizes a knowledge base consisting of agricultural documents and Surya Tani Agricultural Store product information to generate indicative diagnoses, control recommendations, and relevant agricultural product recommendations. The evaluation of answer quality using ROUGE on eight questions showed an average ROUGE-1 precision of 65.42%, recall of 76.30%, and F1-score of 67.99%; ROUGE-2 precision of 50.60%, recall of 58.88%, and F1-score of 52.57%; and ROUGE-L precision of 64.13%, recall of 74.77%, and F1-score of 66.72%. In addition, usability testing using a qualitative Chatbot Usability Questionnaire (CUQ) involving two respondents showed that the chatbot was considered easy to use, informative, and helpful in providing users with initial information about plant diseases and agricultural product recommendations.
