Abstract
Industri konstruksi merupakan salah satu sektor dengan tingkat kecelakaan kerja yang tinggi akibat kompleksitas pekerjaan dan tingginya risiko di lapangan. Berbagai penelitian menunjukkan bahwa human error menjadi salah satu penyebab utama kecelakaan kerja pada proyek konstruksi. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan upaya untuk mengurangi human error melalui peningkatan pengetahuan keselamatan, keterampilan keselamatan, dan lingkungan kerja yang aman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pengetahuan keselamatan, keterampilan keselamatan, dan lingkungan kerja terhadap penurunan human error pada proyek konstruksi. Penelitian dilakukan terhadap 173 personel K3 yang bekerja pada perusahaan konstruksi BUMN dan BUMS di Indonesia menggunakan metode Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan keselamatan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keterampilan keselamatan dengan nilai koefisien jalur sebesar 0,587. Selain itu, keterampilan keselamatan merupakan faktor yang paling dominan dalam mendukung penurunan human error pada proyek konstruksi. Pengetahuan keselamatan juga berpengaruh terhadap penurunan human error baik secara langsung maupun melalui keterampilan keselamatan dan lingkungan kerja. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan kompetensi keselamatan pekerja dan lingkungan kerja yang baik dapat membantu menurunkan human error pada proyek konstruksi.

The construction industry is one of the sectors with a high rate of occupational accidents due to the complexity of construction activities and the high level of risk exposure on site. Numerous studies have identified human error as one of the primary causes of occupational accidents in construction projects. Therefore, efforts to reduce human error are required through improving safety knowledge, safety skills, and maintaining a safe work environment. This study aims to analyze the effects of safety knowledge, safety skills, and work environment on the reduction of human error in construction projects. The study involved 173 Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) personnel working in both state-owned and private construction companies in Indonesia. The collected data were analyzed using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method. The results indicate that safety knowledge has a positive and significant effect on safety skills, with a path coefficient value of 0.587. In addition, safety skills were identified as the most dominant factor in supporting the reduction of human error in construction projects. Safety knowledge also affects the reduction of human error both directly and indirectly through safety skills and work environment. These findings suggest that improving workers' safety competencies and providing a supportive work environment can help reduce human error in construction projects.
