Abstract
Kompleks Bromo-Tengger merupakan kawasan vulkanik aktif di Jawa Timur yang memerlukan pemantauan seismik intensif, terutama selama periode peningkatan aktivitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat aktivitas seismik Gunung Bromo periode September 2023 - Januari 2024 melalui deteksi gempa repeater menggunakan metode template matching, serta menganalisis perubahan distribusi spasial dan kedalaman hiposenter setelah relokasi menggunakan metode Double Difference. Data yang digunakan adalah rekaman seismik dari lima stasiun PVMBG (BROB, KRSB, MGLB, TTUR, POSB) dalam format miniseed. Penentuan lokasi awal hiposenter dilakukan menggunakan NonLinLoc dengan model kecepatan Koulakov (2007), dilanjutkan deteksi repeater menggunakan EQcorrscan, dan relokasi relatif menggunakan algoritma GrowClust3D. Template matching dari 37 event template menghasilkan 247 event terdeteksi, dengan tren peningkatan aktivitas dari September (26 event) hingga Desember 2023 (68 event), yang konsisten dengan status Level II (Waspada) yang ditetapkan PVMBG sepanjang periode penelitian. Setelah relokasi GrowClust3D, ketidakpastian horizontal relatif median sebesar 0,29 km, dan ketidakpastian kedalaman relatif sebesar 0,24 km. Distribusi hiposenter terkonsentrasi di bawah kawah aktif pada dua kelompok kedalaman, yaitu zona dangkal (2-5 km) yang didominasi gempa low frequency dan zona dalam (6-12 km) yang didominasi gempa volcano-tectonic, mengindikasikan adanya dua zona aktivitas vulkanik yang saling berhubungan di bawah Gunung Bromo.

The Bromo-Tengger Complex is an active volcanic area in East Java, Indonesia, requiring intensive seismic monitoring, particularly during periods of elevated activity. This study aims to analyze the seismic activity level of Mount Bromo during September 2023 - January 2024 through repeater earthquake detection using template matching, and to analyze changes in the spatial distribution and depth of hypocenters after relocation using the Double Difference method. Seismic waveform data recorded by five PVMBG stations (BROB, KRSB, MGLB, TTUR, POSB) in miniseed format were used. Initial hypocenter determination was performed using NonLinLoc with the Koulakov (2007) velocity model, followed by repeater detection using EQcorrscan, and relative relocation using the GrowClust3D algorithm. Template matching from 37 template events yielded 247 detected events, with an increasing activity trend from September (26 events) to December 2023 (68 events), consistent with Alert Level II (Waspada) status maintained by PVMBG throughout the study period. After the relocation of GrowClust3D, the median relative horizontal uncertainty was 0.29 km, and the relative depth uncertainty was 0.24 km. Hypocenter distribution is concentrated beneath the active crater at two depth groups, a shallow zone (2–5 km) dominated by low-frequency earthquakes and a deep zone (6–12 km) dominated by volcano-tectonic earthquakes that indicating two interconnected volcanic activity zones beneath Mount Bromo.
