Abstract

Laporan magang ini menguraikan kegiatan Praktik Kerja Lapangan di PT SUCOFINDO (Persero) Surabaya, dengan fokus pada analisis Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3). Studi ini mengevaluasi Dokumen Pengendalian Potensi Bahaya Besar (DPPB) dan melakukan penyelesaian masalah (troubleshooting) pada area berisiko tinggi di perusahaan mitra. Berdasarkan analisis Hazard and Operability Study (HAZOP) dan pembobotan risiko, Departemen Gudang teridentifikasi sebagai area Prioritas 1 (81,82%) akibat keberadaan tangki penyimpanan bahan bakar berkapasitas besar. Pemodelan konsekuensi skenario terburuk, yakni Boiling Liquid Expanding Vapor Explosion (BLEVE), dilakukan menggunakan perangkat lunak ALOHA (Areal Locations of Hazardous Atmospheres). Hasil simulasi menunjukkan radius ancaman radiasi termal meliputi: Zona Merah (967 meter, potensi fatal), Zona Oranye (1,4 km, luka bakar derajat 2), dan Zona Kuning (2,1 km, nyeri signifikan). Hasil dari simulasi ini memberikan rekomendasi penting terkait pengendalian risiko kebakaran dan mitigasi di fasilitas penyimpanan bahan kimia.

This internship report outlines the field practice activities at PT SUCOFINDO (Persero) Surabaya, focusing on Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) analysis. The study evaluates the Major Hazard Potential Control Document (DPPB) and performs troubleshooting in high-risk areas of a partner company. Based on Hazard and Operability Study (HAZOP) and risk weighting, the Warehouse Department was identified as a Priority 1 area (81.82%) due to the presence of a large-capacity fuel storage tank. Consequence modeling for the worst-case scenario, Boiling Liquid Expanding Vapor Explosion (BLEVE), was conducted using ALOHA (Areal Locations of Hazardous Atmospheres) software. Simulation results indicate thermal radiation threat radii: Red Zone (967 meters, potentially fatal), Orange Zone (1.4 km, 2nd-degree burns), and Yellow Zone (2.1 km, significant pain). The simulation results provide critical recommendations for fire risk control and mitigation in chemical storage facilities.
