Abstract
Industri pengolahan ikan membutuhkan data produksi yang akurat untuk mendukung pengendalian proses, perhitungan keseimbangan massa (mass balance), serta pengambilan keputusan operasional. Namun, proses pengelolaan data produksi masih menghadapi berbagai kendala. Masalah yang terjadi di PT XYZ adalah praktik pencatatan data produksi yang masih dilakukan secara manual sehingga meningkatkan risiko human error, keterlambatan pemrosesan informasi, serta potensi kesalahan dalam pencatatan dan pelaporan hasil produksi. Kemudian, metode manual ini membuka celah bagi potensi kesalahan dalam pencatatan dan pelaporan hasil produksi. Untuk mengatasi permasalah tersebut, teknologi Internet of Things (IoT) menawarkan solusi inovatif untuk pengumpulan dan pemantauan data secara real-time. Berdasarkan latar belakang tersebut, rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana arsitektur sistem informasi berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) dapat menunjang konsistensi data produksi untuk mengurangi human error dan keterlambatan pemrosesan informasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan rekomendasi arsitektur sistem informasi berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) yang memungkinkan pemantauan produksi secara real-time. Arsitektur yang diusulkan memanfaatkan sensor IoT untuk mengumpulkan dan menyimpan data secara otomatis dari berbagai titik produksi, mulai dari penerimaan bahan baku, proses pengolahan, hingga produk akhir. Penelitian menggunakan Process Mapping / Analysis untuk memetakan proses bisnis, Digital Maturity Assessment untuk mengukur tingkat kematangan digital, co-creation Design Thinking dalam perancangan solusi, Lean Startup untuk validasi rancangan, serta Cost Benefit Analysis (CBA) untuk mengevaluasi manfaat implementasi. Penelitian ini menghasilkan rekomendasi rancangan arsitektur sistem informasi berbasis IoT di industri pengolahan ikan untuk mengurangi human error dan keterlambatan pemrosesan informasi. Rekomendasi yang dihasilkan mencakup spesifikasi teknis, kebutuhan infrastruktur, serta analisis manfaat sebagai dasar implementasi sistem IoT pada industri pengolahan ikan.

The fish processing industry requires accurate production data to support process control, mass balance calculations, and operational decision-making. However, the production data management process still faces various obstacles. The problem at PT XYZ is that production data are still recorded manually, increasing the risk of human error, delays in information processing, and errors in recording and reporting production results. Furthermore, this manual method opens up opportunities for potential errors in recording and reporting production results. To overcome these problems, Internet of Things (IoT) technology offers an innovative solution for real-time data collection and monitoring. Based on this background, the problem formulation in this study is how the architecture of an Internet of Things (IoT)-based information system can support the consistency of production data to reduce human error and delays in information processing. This study aims to develop recommendations for an Internet of Things (IoT)-based information system architecture that enables real-time production monitoring. The proposed architecture utilizes IoT sensors to automatically collect and store data from various production points, from raw material receipt, processing, to the final product. The research uses Process Mapping/Analysis to map business processes, Digital Maturity Assessment to measure digital maturity levels, co-creation Design Thinking in solution design, Lean Startup for design validation, and Cost-Benefit Analysis (CBA) to evaluate implementation benefits. This research produces recommendations for designing an IoT-based information system architecture in the fish processing industry to reduce human error and delays in information processing. The resulting recommendations include technical specifications, infrastructure requirements, and benefit analysis as the basis for implementing an IoT system in the fish processing industry.
