Abstract
Dalam sektor industri manufaktur, efektivitas pengelolaan rantai pasok, khususnya logistik internal, merupakan salah satu faktor penting dalam mendukung kelancaran produksi dan efisiensi biaya operasional perusahaan. Pada penerapannya, biaya logistik merupakan salah satu aktivitas dengan biaya terbesar dalam operasional perusahaan. Sistem milk run merupakan salah satu pendekatan yang banyak digunakan dalam mendukung logistik perusahaan, dimana sistem ini memungkinkan pengambilan material dari beberapa pemasok dilakukan dalam satu rute terjadwal. PT Aisin Indonesia merupakan salah satu perusahaan yang sudah menerapkan sistem milk run dalam mendukung proses logistiknya. Namun pada implementasinya, terlihat bahwa pembagian zona saat ini belum mampu dalam menyeimbangkan beban permintaan antar zona, sehingga hal ini berdampak pada rendahnya tingkat pemanfaatan ruang pada wingbox sebagai kendaraan yang digunakan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan rancangan alternatif zona milk run guna memperoleh distribusi beban permintaan yang lebih merata dan peningkatan utilitas kapasitas kendaraan. Metode Sweep digunakan dalam pembentukan zona alternatif dengan mempertimbangkan posisi geografis pemasok dan kapasitas kendaraan. Metode Clarke and Wright savings digunakan dalam pembentukan zona dengan mempertimbangkan nilai penghematan jarak dan juga kapasitas kendaraan. Simulasi Monte Carlo digunakan dalam merepresentasikan permintaan yang bersifat dinamis dan menganalisis tingkat utilitas kendaraan pada zona alternatif yang dihasilkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada metode Sweep, skenario demand harian menjadi alternatif terbaik dengan rata-rata utilitas kendaraan sebesar 63%, rata-rata ritase 1,19, dan rata-rata jarak tempuh 53,67 km. Sementara itu, pada metode Clarke and Wright, skenario demand harian memberikan hasil terbaik dengan rata-rata utilitas 62%, rata-rata ritase 1,21, dan rata-rata jarak tempuh 43,03 km. Hasil simulasi Monte Carlo dan analisis sensitivitas terhadap kenaikan permintaan sebesar 5%–20% menunjukkan bahwa metode Sweep memiliki tingkat robustness yang lebih baik karena menghasilkan distribusi utilitas kendaraan yang lebih merata dan stabil dibandingkan metode Clarke and Wright. Dengan demikian, konfigurasi zona alternatif berbasis Sweep demand harian direkomendasikan sebagai rancangan zona milk run yang paling efektif.

In the manufacturing industry, the effectiveness of supply chain management, particularly internal logistics, plays a crucial role in supporting production continuity and operational cost efficiency. In practice, logistics costs represent one of the largest components of a company’s operational expenses. The milk run system is one of the widely adopted approaches to support logistics activities, as it enables the collection of materials from multiple suppliers within a single scheduled route. PT Aisin Indonesia is one of the companies that has implemented the milk run system to support its logistics operations. However, in its current implementation, the existing zoning allocation has not been able to balance demand loads across zones, resulting in low capacity utilization of the wingbox vehicles used. This study aims to develop an alternative milk run zoning design to achieve a more balanced distribution of demand loads and improve vehicle capacity utilization. The Sweep method is employed to form alternative zones by considering the geographical positions of suppliers and vehicle capacity constraints. Clarke and Wright savings method is used to form alternative zones by considering savings value and vehicle capacity constraints. In addition, Monte Carlo simulation is used to represent dynamic demand and to analyze vehicle utilization levels in the proposed zoning configurations. The expected outcome of this study is an improved milk run zoning configuration with enhanced vehicle capacity utilization across zones. The results of the study show that, using the Sweep method, the daily demand scenario is the best alternative, with an average vehicle utilization rate of 63%, an average number of trips of 1.19, and an average distance traveled of 53.67 km. Meanwhile, in the Clarke and Wright method, the daily demand scenario yielded the best results with an average vehicle utility of 62%, an average number of trips of 1.21, and an average distance traveled of 43.03 km. The results of the Monte Carlo simulation and sensitivity analysis regarding a 5%–20% increase in demand indicate that the Sweep method exhibits greater robustness, as it produces a more even and stable distribution of vehicle utility compared to the Clarke and Wright method. Consequently, the alternative zone configuration based on the daily Sweep demand is recommended as the most effective milk run zone design.
